Abstract: The present application discloses a method, system, and computer system for using a shared memory quota for communicating with a plurality of services in a data plane. The method includes processing a set of data for network security analysis, determining whether to offload the set of data to a cloud security entity for security processing, in response to determining to offload the set of data to the cloud security entity, send the set of data from a shared memory of the inline security entity to the cloud security entity. The cloud security entity provides a plurality of services. The plurality of services share a multiple-service shared-memory in which messages pertaining to the set of data offloaded to the cloud security entity is stored. Each service in the plurality of services is allocated a quota of the multiple-service shared-memory.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method and system for participating in grid frequency regulation within full range of charging and discharging of energy storage, comprising: collecting grid operation power and frequency data, and constructing a full-range droop coefficient; setting constraints of upper and lower limits of a frequency deadband, obtaining an actual output power command value based on the constraint function constructed from a theoretical power command value and a rated charging and generating power value, and controlling operation of the grid; and setting a hysteresis interval on the power command of an energy storage system, wherein when the demand of the grid exceeds the upper threshold, the energy storage system switches from the charging mode to the discharging mode; and when the demand of the grid falls below the lower threshold, the energy storage system switches from the discharging mode to the charging mode.

Abstract: Infill-to-parent well frac hits or fracture driven interactions occur when infill well fractures intersect with parent well depleted fractures or parent wellbores themselves. As a result, both the parent and infill well production can be negatively impacted. Understanding and mitigating frac hits is crucial for unconventional assets since they can impact many aspects of field development. Frac hits can cause parent well production loss, making it an important consideration when it comes to well spacing-stacking, completion design, and drilling schedules optimization decisions. In cases where parent wells have been knocked offline by frac hits, well interventions are often necessary to restore production. Refracturing of parent wells has been proven to protect them from offset infill frac hits, and also presents a secondary field development opportunity.
