  • Publication number: 20240086730
Abstract: At least one processor identifies dependency relationships among libraries in a repository of libraries. Using the dependency relationships among libraries, at least one machine learning model can be created that predicts with a confidence value a dependency between a given library and a target library. An L layer tree-like graph can be created, using the dependency relationships among libraries and an application package. L can be configurable. Versions of the libraries to use can be determined by running the at least one machine learning model for each pair of nodes having a dependency relationship in the L layer tree-like graph, the at least one machine learning model identifying the dependency relationship with a confidence value, where pairs of nodes having largest confidence values are selected as the versions of the libraries to use in the application package.

  • Publication number: 20160275081
Abstract: An approach is provided for generating personalizing resource recommendations. A recommendation engine causes, at least in part, a classification of one or more items into a tree structure, wherein the tree structure is based, at least in part, on a hierarchical categorization of the one or more items, and wherein the one or more items are associated with a usage history of at least one user. The recommendation engine determines one or more candidate root nodes of the tree structure based, at least in part, on one or more user preference criteria. The recommendation engine determines one or more candidate sub-nodes associated the respective one or more candidate root nodes based, at least in part, on the usage history. The recommendation engine causes, at least in part, a ranking of the one or more candidate root nodes, the one or more candidate sub-nodes, or a combination thereof.

  • Patent number: 8259846
Abstract: An apparatus for generating a multicarrier communication signal having a reduced crest factor enables efficient power amplifier operation. The apparatus includes a plurality of shaping filters (205-n) for outputting a plurality of shaped baseband transmission signals. A plurality of mixers (210-n) then multiplies each signal by one of a plurality of complex carrier signals. A window function generator (235) generates a clipping window signal based on power levels of the unshaped baseband transmission signals. A plurality of window output units (245-n) outputs a plurality of subtraction-based clipping window signals. At least one summing unit (260) then generates the multicarrier communication signal having the reduced crest factor from the plurality of subtraction-based clipping window signals and the plurality of shaped baseband transmission signals.
