  • Patent number: 11313921
Abstract: A magnetic field measurement device and a magnetic field measurement method based on solid-state spins are provided. Zeeman splitting between electron energy levels of electrons of a magnetic sensitive unit is different under the action of external magnetic fields having different intensities. Continuous excitation and manipulation is applied to the electrons by means of a control field and control laser, so that spins of a system can reach a balanced state. The spin population of the system is influenced by the external magnetic fields. Therefore, fluorescence signals with intensities changing with the spin population of the system can be obtained, and fluorescent signals having different intensities can be obtained according to the different intensities of the external magnetic fields.

  • Patent number: 10772580
Abstract: Single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) is performed with multiple emission energies. For quantitative or qualitative SPECT, the image formation process for emissions at different energy ranges is modeled (44, 46, 48, 50) separately. Different scatter, different attenuation, and/or different collimator-detector response models corresponding to different energy ranges are used in the reconstruction.

  • Patent number: 10395353
Abstract: In SPECT reconstruction, multi-modal reconstruction is combined with model-based multi-energy image formation. The scatter modeling of the model-based image formation uses resampling to facilitate convolution with the scatter kernels while maintaining resolution for the multi-energy projection. This combination of multi-modal and model-based multi-energy image formation simultaneously addresses the inaccuracy of the image formation process for complicated energy spectra and image blurring due to degradation of resolution. Varying the reconstruction by iteration may provide some of the benefits while reducing computational burden.

  • Patent number: 10126439
Abstract: In quantitative SPECT with multiple photopeaks, the combination for the multiple photopeaks is performed within or as part of reconstruction rather than post-reconstruction. Reconstruction is performed iteratively, so the combination for the multiple photopeaks is performed within the iteration loop of the reconstruction, such as combining back projected feedback of the different photopeaks for updating the volume.

  • Patent number: 10102650
Abstract: Model-based scatter correction is used in SPECT with a non-parallel-hole collimator. Model-based scatter correction uses scatter kernels based on simulation to model the scatter for a given system and patient. For non-parallel-hole collimators, the measured sensitivity and measured vector maps are used in the modeling of scatter. The measured sensitivity is used to normalize the scatter kernels simulated for a parallel-hole collimator rather than attempting to simulate scatter with the complicated arrangement of holes. The measured vector maps are used to accurately project the model-based scatter sources into a data or emissions space.

  • Patent number: 9122586
Abstract: A method for increasing performance of a recycle operation in a solid state drive, comprising the steps of (A) creating an empty physical-to-logical address map in a memory having a plurality of entry locations, (B) filling one of the plurality of entry locations with a physical page address associated with each data write operation to a block, where the block has a plurality of pages, (C) writing the physical-to-logical address map to a last of the plurality of pages during a write to a second to last page of the block and (D) initiating a recycle operation of the block by reading the address map to determine whether the pages contain valid data.
