    Abstract: According to a transformer-architecture-based method and system for IoT for and smart control of urban integrated energy, urban integrated energy IoT information acquired by a terminal from different areas is output to a server after being standardized into a sequence signal, where energy demand prediction is performed through learning of a deep learning network configured on the server, a smart control network is configured and built by using the deep learning network, real-time prediction processing is performed on the urban integrated energy IoT information acquired in real time, and a result is uploaded to a workstation for reviewing. Based on the transformer architecture, the deep learning network is combined with a fast Fourier transform algorithm and inverse transform on a sequence, and an FFT-Attention mechanism is proposed. Compared with a conventional transformer architecture, frequency domain information of a sequence is given more emphasis.

    Abstract: A first communication device receives an analog receive signal via a communication medium. An ADC of the first communication device converts the analog receive signal to a digital receive signal. Logic circuitry of the first communication device detects a plurality of timing signals from a second communication device based on analyzing the digital receive signal. The logic circuitry adjusts a sampling phase of the ADC in connection with at least some of the timing signals so that the ADC is using different sampling phases when different ones of the timing signals are detected. The logic circuitry determines timing information based on the detection of the plurality of timing signals when the ADC is using different sampling phases when different ones of the timing signals are detected. The first communication device determines a time of flight between the first communication device and the second communication device based on the timing information.

    Abstract: Embodiments described herein provide a mechanism that ensembles trainable soft prompts to transfer knowledge from source tasks under few-shot learning settings. Specifically, given a source task input from a source task training dataset, a set of soft prompts may be trained using a frozen PLM on the large-scale source task training dataset. The set of soft prompts are then prepended to a target task input, based on which the frozen pre-trained language model generates a set of logits for predicting classification of the target task input, respectively. An attention module is used to generate input-logit attention scores, which are used to compute a weighted linear combination of the logits given the attention scores. The weighted linear combination are the final logits to predict the final classification of the target task input.
