  • Publication number: 20240062229
Abstract: The probability that an entity will purchase a product is predicted. This prediction involves receiving input data in the form of entries each of which represents an interest event. Through a series of iterations, a final matrix is generated from the input data entries by assigning an entity-product identifier pair associated with each interest event to a different location in the matrix, along with a time identifier indicative of how far back in time the interest event occurred from a prescribed date of interest. A supervised machine learning technique is employed to create a final prediction model for each product of interest using the final matrix as input. For each product, its prediction model is applied to the input data to estimate the probability that an entity will purchase the product within a future time period.

  • Patent number: 11766954
Abstract: A control method and system of neutral section passing of multi-locomotive short broke trains. Distance traveled by a train after a primary multiple unit enters a neutral section is calculated in real time, so that a neutral section passing procedure of a secondary multiple unit is effectively controlled, thereby solving the problem that when the multi-locomotive short broke trains operate with double-raised pantographs, if the distance between the two pantographs is shorter than the length of a neutral zone of a neutral section and longer than the length of a no-electricity zone of the neutral section, when the two pantographs pass through the neutral sections, the two pantographs will span the two neutral sections and generate an interphase short circuit. The method improves safety of the EMU when it passing neutral section and ensure that the EMU can reliably pass through the neutral section with double-raised pantographs.

  • Patent number: 10618532
Abstract: The present invention discloses a train coupler structural health monitoring system. The system includes one or more sensors mounted to or integrated with the train coupler, a data acquisition unit for receiving signal or data from the sensors, and a processing unit for determining the train coupler's structural health based on the received signal or data. Inspections via the system can be performed in real time continuously or periodically while a train is in service. It can also be performed offline while a train is not in service. Inspection method can be either passive, where sensors collect signals without generating excitation signals to the structure, or active, where some sensors are used as actuators to actively send excitation signals to the structure and other sensors or the actuators themselves collect the structural response signals. The data acquisition unit receives signals or data from sensors.
