Abstract: Described herein are various technologies pertaining to identifying global outlier candidates from a relatively large collection of computer-readable objects in a distributed computing environment. The collection of computer-readable objects is partitioned into a plurality of sets of objects, and local outlier candidates are identified from each set of objects in the plurality of sets of objects. The local outlier candidates are updated through a hierarchical pairwise similarity analysis until global outlier candidates are identified. Thereafter, a pairwise similarity analysis is undertaken with respect to the global outlier candidates and the sets of objects in the plurality of sets of objects to identify true global outliers.

Abstract: A micro-speaker includes a frame, a yoke, a magnet, a diaphragm, and a voice coil. The yoke includes a base wall and a plurality of sidewalls defining a number of flat walls and a number of curved walls disposed at corners of the yoke. The flat walls define a number of first steps disposed at an upper level for engaging with the position blocks, the curved walls define a number of second steps disposed at a lower level for air leaking.

Abstract: Technologies pertaining to computing a metric that is indicative of whether an n-gram in a large corpus of text is a collocation are described herein. The metric is computed in connection with a distributed computing framework, wherein n-grams of varying lengths can be analyzed in a single input data pass, and wherein secondary sorting functionality of the distributed computing framework need not be invoked.

Abstract: An electronic device includes a front plate, a top plate, and a switch control unit. The front plate defines a receiving hole therein. The switch control unit includes a mounting frame mounted on the front plate, a switch mounted in the mounting frame, a contact element located above the switch, and a control assembly. When the top plate completely covers the front plate, the top plate presses the contact element, and the contact element resiliently presses the switch to turn on the switch. When the top plate is pulled away from the front plate, the switch is turned off. The control assembly includes a first knob rotatably received in the mounting frame. The first knob includes a pressing portion. When the first knob is rotated from a first position to a second position, the pressing portion abuts against the switch to keep the switch on.

Abstract: An exemplary electronic device includes a casing, a first switch, a second switch and a switch control unit. The casing includes a side plate and a top plate detachably connected with a top end of the side plate. The first switch is turned on when the top plate is connected to the side plate and turned off when the top plate is detached from the side plate. The switch control unit includes a sliding member mounted at one side of the second switch. The sliding member includes a pressing plate. The sliding member is moveable relative to the side plate between a first state in which the pressing plate aligned with and pressing the second switch to turn on the second switch and a second state in which the pressing plate is staggered with the second switch to turn off the second switch.

Abstract: An exemplary electronic device includes a casing, a first switch, a second switch and a switch control unit. The second switch is connected in parallel with the first switch. The casing includes a side plate and a top plate detachably connected with a top end of the side plate. The first switch is turned on when the top plate mounted to the side plate and turned off when the top plate detached from the side plate. The switch control unit includes a sliding member mounted at the second switch. The sliding member includes a pressing plate and is moveable relative to the side plate between a first position in which the pressing plate aligned with and pressing the second switch to turn on the second switch and a second position in which the pressing plate is staggered with the second switch to turn off the second switch.

Abstract: A display module includes a bottom cover, a locking part, a pressing part, and a display panel. The bottom cover includes a bottom wall and two sidewalls, defines a first groove on the bottom wall and a second groove on one sidewall. The locking part is rotatably mounted on the bottom wall, and includes a first hook. The pressing part is slidably received in the first groove, and rotatably connected with the locking part. The display panel includes a sliding part and a display part rotatably connected with each other. The sliding part includes one peg slidably received in the second groove and a second hook engaging with the first hook. When the pressing part is slid in the first groove to rotate the locking part, the first hook disengages from the second hook, the display part is pulled out from the bottom cover and rotated to adjust viewing angle.

The supporting member is operable to rotate in the opening, thereby the supporting member being totally received in the opening, or a part of the supporting member protruding outwardly from the opening for supporting the housing.

Abstract: A micro-speaker includes a yoke, a magnet assembly attached to the yoke, a voice coil, and a diaphragm connected with the voice coil. The yoke defines a bottom wall, and a number of sidewalls extending upwards from the bottom wall. The magnet assembly includes a main magnet positioned on the bottom wall, and a number of secondary magnets positioned on tops of the sidewalls.

Abstract: A micro-speaker includes a case having a cavity and a receiving hole, a magnetic circuit unit and a vibrating unit with a voice coil received in the cavity, a pair of needle seats embedded in the case for electrically connecting with the voice coil, a pair of pogo-pins arranged in the receiving hole for electrically connecting with the pair of needle seats. Each of the pogo-pins has a barrel unit, a first protrusion and a second protrusion extending from an outer surface of the barrel unit, at least one plunger extending from the barrel unit and projecting out of the receiving hole, a receiving space formed between the first protrusion and the second protrusion. A third protrusion extends from an inner surface of the receiving hole and accommodated in the receiving space for fixing the pogo-pin in the corresponding receiving hole.

Abstract: A chassis includes a base board and a number of footpads mounted on a bottom of the base board. The base board defines a number of depressed portions corresponding to the footpads. Each footpad includes a fixing member mounted on an inner side of the base board and aligning with a corresponding depressed portion, a receiving member received in and rotatably mounted on a corresponding depressed portion of the base board, and a movable member received in and rotatably mounted on the receiving member. The movable member is rotatable in a first direction relative to the receiving member to extend out from the receiving member, and in a second direction opposite to the first direction relative to the receiving member to withdraw back into the receiving member.

Abstract: Some embodiments of the invention employ algorithms enabling the calculation of one or more statistical moments in a single pass of a dataset. For example, some embodiments may apply algorithms for calculating statistical moments to a dataset using a map-reduce framework, whereby an input dataset is partitioned into multiple shards, a separate map process is used to apply an algorithm enabling calculation of one or more statistical moments in a single scan to each shard, and one or more reduce processes consolidate the results generated by the map processes to calculate the one or more statistical moments across the entire dataset. In other embodiments of the invention, a map-reduce framework may be employed to apply algorithms enabling calculation of a covariance between data elements expressed in a dataset, instead of or in addition to one or more statistical moments.

Abstract: Techniques for identifying influential users of a social networking service are provided. Influential users may be identified via an algorithm in which an influence score is assigned to each user based at least in part on other members of the community users having taken an affirmative step with respect to the user's communications. Iterative processing may be performed, with each user's influence score being determined by contributions from other users, and each contribution being determined by the contributor's influence score as of a prior iteration. A map-reduce framework may be employed, with data representing the community being partitioned into a plurality of discrete shards, a map process corresponding to each shard calculating an influence score for users represented in the shard, and reduce processes ranking users according to influence score across all shards.

Abstract: A canopy clustering process merges at least one set of multiple single-center canopies together into a merged multi-center canopy. Multi-center canopies, as well as the single-center canopies, can then be used to partition data objects in a dataset. The multi-center canopies allow a canopy assignment condition constraint to be relaxed without risk of leaving any data objects in a dataset outside of all canopies. Approximate distance calculations can be used as similarity metrics to define and merge canopies and to assign data objects to canopies. In one implementation, a distance between a data object and a canopy is represented as the minimum of the distances between the data object and each center of a canopy (whether merged or unmerged), and the distance between two canopies is represented as the minimum of the distances for each pairing of the center(s) in one canopy and the center(s) in the other canopy.

An apparatus comprising an entropy decoding unit, an inverse scanning unit coupled to the entropy decoding unit, an inverse quantization unit coupled to the inverse scanning unit such that the inverse scanning unit is positioned between the entropy coding unit and the inverse quantization unit, and an adaptive scan order predictor unit coupled to the entropy decoding unit and the inverse scanning unit.

The main plate and the first support platform are configured for matingly engaging with an expansion card bracket of a second expansion card.

Abstract: A mounting apparatus for mounting an expansion card to a rear panel of an electronic device includes a latching member, an operation member, and two connection members. The latching member includes four drive plates, a connection plate, and four latching portions. Each of the drive plates defines a rail therein. The operation member includes four pins, a handle, and a resilient portion. The resilient portion includes a latch block. The two connection members pass through the latching member and the rear panel. Each of the four pins is slidably received in the rail to rotate the latching member, each of the four latching portions is received in a first block plate of the expansion card, the latch block of the operation member is received in a latch of the rear panel, thereby mounting the expansion card to the rear panel.

Abstract: An expansion card fastening device includes a bracket, a first fastener, and a second fastener. The bracket includes parallel arranged fences. The first fastener is assembled on one of the fences, and includes a connecting portion, a supporting portion, and an elastic element. The supporting portion and the elastic element are both disposed on an end of the connection portion. A first clasp protrudes from the supporting portion, and faces the same direction with a free end of the elastic element. A second fastener pivots to the supporting portion, and is resisted by the elastic element. A second clasp protrudes from the second fastener, and faces the same direction with the first clasp.

Abstract: A server system includes a chassis, a first cover, and a second cover. The chassis defines an opening. The first cover is secured to the chassis and defines a recess for receiving a disk drive. The second cover is secured to the chassis. The first cover is rotatable between a first position, where the first and second covers cover the opening, and a second position, where the first cover is rotated away from the second cover. The recess is located outside the chassis when the first cover is in the first position.
