  • Publication number: 20140318408
Abstract: The present invention relates to a drive apparatus for a magnetic levitation transport system comprising a short-stator linear motor, wherein a primary part of the linear motor is provided with a winding (8) and is intended for arrangement on a vehicle (12) of the magnetic levitation transport system. A secondary part of the linear motor has a reaction rail (2) and is intended for arrangement on a travel path (1), with a supporting device for the magnetic levitation of the vehicle (12) on the travel path (1). The supporting device has at least one electromagnetic coil (4) attended for arrangement on the vehicle (12) and having a U-shaped yoke (3), which interacts with a U-shaped reaction rail (2) intended for arrangement on the travel path (1). The short-stator linear motor is surrounded by the U-shaped yoke (3) and the U-shaped reaction rail (2) on both sides transversely to the longitudinal extent of said short-stator linear motor.

  • Patent number: 8166884
Abstract: A switch assembly for magnetic levitation railways includes a girder extending in a travel direction (x) and flexible transversely to it is provided with travel way or equipment parts. A rail and a rack are located transversely to the travel direction. A load-bearing frame, receiving the girder, has a rotatably supported carrying wheel braced on the rail and a drive mechanism with a gear wheel meshing with the rack and with a motor intended for driving it. Switch adjustment is effected by displacement of the load-bearing frame along the rail by means of the drive mechanism and a thus-effected flexing of the girder. The girder, the load-bearing frame and the drive mechanism form a solidly joined-together structural unit which as a whole is located displaceably in the travel direction (x) relative to the rail and the rack.

  • Patent number: 7966942
Abstract: The invention relates to a bending mount (24) for a switch arrangement for magnetically levitated railways. The bending mount comprises at least a box-shaped support element (25) that extends in the longitudinal direction (x) and on which are fixed successively arranged supporting metal sheets (27) that extend on both sides of the support element and serve to assemble the pieces of equipment (10, 12). According to the invention, the supporting metal sheets (27) are configured as single-piece components which extend over the width of the bending mount and are interlinked in the longitudinal direction to form a chain. Said chain essentially does not influence the flexural rigidity of the support element (25) in the desired direction (y) of a switching arrangement but exhibits a high rigidity against torsion about the longitudinal axis (x) and against vibrations in the vertical direction (z).

  • Patent number: 7752740
Abstract: The invention relates to a laying vehicle for laying electric lines (8) in the grooves (6) of an inductor (4), for example a longitudinal stator of a maglev railway. The laying vehicle contains a first, preceding vehicle part (11) comprising a bending and offset unit (14) for configuring winding undulations, a second following vehicle part (16) comprising a pressing station (18) for pressing limbs (8a) of the undulations into the grooves (6), the second vehicle part (16) being displaceable in relation to the first vehicle part (11) and a slide (15) that is coupled in a driven manner to the first vehicle part (11), for transferring the undulations to the second vehicle part (16). According to the invention, a delivery unit (27), which is coupled to the second vehicle part (16), is located between the slide (15) and the pressing station (18), said unit receiving the limbs (8a) from the slide (15) and transferring them to the pressing station (18) at essentially constant intervals.

  • Publication number: 20090013898
Abstract: Disclosed is a switch arrangement for magnetically levitated railways, comprising a support (1), which is bendable transversally to the direction of travel and is provided with track or component fittings, a rail arranged transversally to the direction of travel, a rack (23) arranged transversally to the direction of travel and a supporting frame (15) for receiving said support (1). The supporting frame is supported on the rail by a running wheel (16) and comprises a drive mechanism (18) with a toothed wheel (20) that engages in the rack (23) as well as a motor for the propulsion thereof. According to the invention, the support (1), the supporting frame (15) and the drive mechanism (18) form, as an entity, a firmly connected assembly which is arranged in such a manner that it can be displaced in the direction of travel and relative to the rail (17) and the rack (23).
