Patent number: 12640022Abstract: This invention pertains to the field of vehicle anti-theft technology and discloses a vehicle anti-theft method based on encrypted facial recognition. The method includes: periodically capturing facial data of the driver within the vehicle, using an in-vehicle neural network-based facial feature extraction model to extract feature vectors, and comparing these vectors with a preset whitelist to confirm authorization. If the driver is an unauthorized person, the feature vector is transmitted to the internet of vehicles for detection, where abnormal recognition triggers an alarm and uploads the data to a trusted authority within the internet of vehicles for tracking. The internet of vehicles consists of a trusted authority, auxiliary servers, cloud servers, roadside units, and vehicles, all of which deploy physically unclonable functions. This system enables rapid identity verification and anomaly detection to ensure driving safety.Type: GrantFiled: August 7, 2024Date of Patent: May 26, 2026Assignee: Hangzhou Normal UniversityInventors: Xiumei Li, Shucheng Ying, Qingyun Xie, Qi Xie

Publication number: 20260019252Abstract: The proposed invention discloses an authentication scheme for avoiding emergency vehicles. Emergency vehicles send accident rescue route information and authentication message requests to the nearest roadside unit (RSU). Upon receiving the message, the RSU verifies the legitimacy of the vehicle's identity and generates shared secret values, which are encrypted and sent to the emergency vehicle. Simultaneously, the RSU forwards the avoidance route message, partial vehicle information, and the shared secret values to the second RSU along the rescue route. When the emergency vehicle reaches the second RSU, it sends a request for authentication to the RSU. Upon successful authentication, new shared secret values are generated, encrypted, and sent to the emergency vehicle. Simultaneously, the avoidance route message, partial vehicle information, and the newly generated shared secret values are passed on to the next RSU along the rescue route.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 14, 2025Publication date: January 15, 2026Inventors: Qi Xie, Juanjuan Huang, Xiumei Li, Qingyun Xie, Yining Liu, Anjia Yang

Publication number: 20260011241Abstract: The proposed invention discloses an authentication method for emergency vehicles to quickly pass through traffic lights, which relates to the field of information security technology. The method designs a traffic light service request message propagation and handover authentication structure by considering that traffic lights are located in different roadside unit domains, enabling emergency vehicles to quickly pass through multiple traffic lights until they reach the intended destination. By introducing elliptic curve encryption operations on critical parameters during the authentication process, the security of the entire authentication process is enhanced, effectively resisting various known attacks. The adoption of elliptic curve Diffie-Hellman secret exchange values for authentication ensures the legitimacy of identities. Vehicles employ a dynamic anonymity strategy to protect privacy, avoiding the transmission of identity-related information over public channels and achieving privacy protection.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 8, 2024Publication date: January 8, 2026Inventors: Qi Xie, Juanjuan Huang, Xiumei Li, Qingyun Xie, Yining Liu, Anjia Yang

Patent number: 12407508Abstract: A traffic accident forensics method based on a blockchain is provided. After a traffic accident, the method allows vehicles to carry out a mutual verification and sign a respective accident report. After one of the vehicles verifies with a road side unit, the signed accident report is submitted to the road side unit and uploaded to the blockchain, so as to record the accident report and preventing the accident report from being tampered, and an efficient mutual verification between the vehicle and the road side unit is achieved. The key parameters in the mutual verification process are encrypted based on an elliptic curve algorithm, and thus the security of the whole mutual verification process is improved. A batch verification way for signatures is designed to reduce the compute pressure of a wireless device. Vehicles use dynamic anonymity policies to protect privacy in the forensics method.Type: GrantFiled: August 1, 2023Date of Patent: September 2, 2025Assignee: Hangzhou Normal UniversityInventors: Qi Xie, Xiumei Li, Zixuan Ding, Bin Hu, Xiao Tan

Patent number: 12292997Abstract: A method for inter-hospital identity authentication and electronic medical record transfer of patients is provided. Based on a blockchain technology, a patient achieves secure and efficient inter-hospital transfer authentication, and a new hospital accesses an electronic medical record with authorization of the patient, thus achieving reliable electronic medical record access controls. In each hospital, the patient, a medical server, and a doctor achieve efficient tripartite authentication and negotiation of session keys, and communicate based on the session keys. By introducing an elliptic curve to encrypt key parameters in an authentication process, a security of the entire authentication process is improved, and a computational pressure on a wireless device is reduced. In the authentication and the electronic medical record, the patient uses dynamic anonymity policies to protect privacy.Type: GrantFiled: July 19, 2023Date of Patent: May 6, 2025Assignee: Hangzhou Normal UniversityInventors: Qi Xie, Xiumei Li, Zixuan Ding, Bin Hu, Xiao Tan, Lidong Han
