    Abstract: A method and an apparatus for controlling a permanent magnet motor, a power system and an electric vehicle. A power frequency of the permanent magnet motor is set by obtaining system parameters such as a resonance bandwidth of the permanent magnet motor and a natural frequency of a stator of the permanent magnet motor, and the permanent magnet motor is supplied power by using alternating current at the power frequency when a power battery meets a self-heating condition. Noises generated by the motor is reduced during a self-heating process of the power battery.
