In some aspects, a transmitting (Tx) node may perform a channel measurement in a channel sensing contention slot based at least in part on a measurement time, wherein the measurement time is based at least in part on one or more of a sensing bandwidth or a beam switching time. The Tx may perform, to a receiving (Rx) node, a transmission based at least in part on a value of the channel measurement satisfying a threshold. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: In general, the present disclosure is directed to a hand-held surface cleaning device that includes a relatively compact form-factor to allow users to store the same in a nearby location (e.g., in a drawer, in an associated charging dock, on a table top) for easy access to perform relatively small cleaning tasks that would otherwise require retrieving a full-size vacuum from storage. A hand-held surface cleaning device consistent with aspects of the present disclosure includes a body (or body portion) with a motor, power source and dust cup disposed therein. The body portion also functions as a handgrip to allow the hand-held surface cleaning device to be operated by one hand, for example.

The method includes transmitting, to a second terminal device, a configuration information of discontinuous reception (DRX) associated with at least one of the first terminal device or a third terminal device. The method also includes receiving, from the second terminal device, a resource information indicating a first set of resources allocated for a sidelink communication between the first terminal device and the third terminal device. The method further includes determining a second set of resources for performing the sidelink communication based on the first set of resources and the configuration information.

Abstract: An in vitro release test (IVRT) method and system is provided for drug release testing. The IVRT method, referred to herein as adaptive perfusion, employ tangential-flow filtration (TFF), where released drug products that are smaller than a molecular weight cutoff (MWCO) of a membrane filter pass therethrough into the permeate. Unreleased drug products are retained by the pores of the filter and are recirculated to a retentate reservoir. Fresh media is provided to the retentate in order to maintain a constant total volume for the sample as well as to maintain sink conditions for the drug release. Drug concentration in the retentate and permeate are evaluated by in situ monitoring with one or more sensors and/or by periodic removal of aliquots from the respective reservoirs. In some embodiments, the membrane filter can be conditioned prior to use in order to improve the accuracy, precision, or both of the subsequent testing.

The device may utilize the decoded SMILE data to train an encoder, and may process source SMILE data, with the trained encoder, to generate a source combined latent-embedding space. The device may search the source combined latent-embedding space to identify new SMILE data, and may decode the new SMILE data to generate decoded new SMILE data. Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for building a dictionary of words from combinations of symbols generated based on input data. A neuro-linguistic behavior recognition system includes a neuro-linguistic module that generates a linguistic model that describes data input from a source (e.g., video data, SCADA data, etc.). To generate words for the linguistic model, a lexical analyzer component in the neuro-linguistic module receives a stream of symbols, each symbol generated based on an ordered stream of normalized vectors generated from input data. The lexical analyzer component determines words from combinations of the symbols based on a hierarchical learning model having one or more levels. Each level indicates a length of the words to be identified at that level. Statistics are evaluated for the words identified at each level. The lexical analyzer component identifies one or more of the words having statistical significance.
