Abstract: An approach for staged data backup is provided. The approach comprises downloading data to be backed up, by one or more processors, from at least one of cloud computing servers in a plurality of stages into a local cache, wherein each of the plurality of stages corresponds to a time point when a corresponding downloading operation starts, and a time point corresponding to the last stage of the plurality of stages is the time point when a request to back up the data is received. The approach comprises merging, by one or more processors, downloaded data corresponding to each of the plurality of stages into up-to-date data. The approach further comprises saving, by one or more processors, the merged up-to-date data corresponding to the last stage as a backup dataset.

Abstract: A computer-based method for filtering XML files is disclosed. The method includes: configuring XQuery scripts of each of the tasks and a scheduled time to perform each of the tasks, and storing the XQuery scripts in a database; scheduling the tasks in a scheduling server; sending a task request by the scheduling server to a processing server when it is time to perform the task; invoking the XQuery scripts of each of the tasks from the database when the processing server receives the task request; processing each of the XML files, and obtaining a XQuery result; merging the XQuery result of the XQuery scripts of each of the tasks, and storing a merged result of each of the tasks in the database. A related system is also disclosed.

Abstract: A method for filtering contents of a Web page is disclosed. The method includes the steps of downloading and storing the Web page to be selected in the database; converting the Web page from the HTML to the XML; detecting whether the XML Web page contains the elements corresponding to the element selection options; selecting the elements of the XML Web page according to the element selection options; determining whether the content of each of the filtered Web page elements needs to be audited; determining whether the contents of the filtered Web page elements complies with corresponding audited string if the content of each of the filtered Web page elements needs to be audited; storing the filtered Web page in the database if the contents of the filtered Web page elements complies with the audited string. A related system is also disclosed.
