  • Patent number: 10437753
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a computer-implemented method. According to the method, a series of valid control codes for a calibration stage in a channel corresponding to a plurality of calibration cycles are acquired from the calibration logic. The acquired valid control codes are analyzed to obtain changing characteristics for the calibration stage in the channel. The calibration logic for the calibration stage in the channel is adjusted in one or more subsequent calibration cycles based on the changing characteristics.

  • Publication number: 20190250357
Abstract: A hybrid cable applicable in oil wells is disclosed, comprising a FIMT, a conductor layer formed by continuous laser welding and cylindrically covered the outer surface of the FIMT, the outer cylindrical surface of the conductor layer being covered with a high temperature resistant insulating layer by a continuous extrusion method or by wrapped helically with insulating tapes around the outer surface of the conductor layer and the external steel tube cylindrically covered the outer surface of the insulating layer. The conductor layer is coaxial with the FIMT, the inner space of the hybrid cable to accommodating excess length of the optical fiber for thermal expansions or the tensile stress of the optical cable. The thickness of the insulating layer cylindrically covered the outer surface of the conductor layer can be increased, thereby improving the insulating property. A method of manufacturing such hybrid cable is disclosed.

  • Patent number: 8606991
Abstract: A method and system for refreshing DRAM having a plurality of banks, each of the banks including a plurality of rows includes dividing all banks in DRAM into a plurality of groups of banks, each of the groups having n banks, wherein n is an integer greater than or equal to 1. A threshold of available retention time for each group of banks is determined. Each row of banks in each group of banks is refreshed. Refreshing one row of a bank in one group of banks includes determining whether a refresh operation for the row of the bank conflicts with an access operation for the bank where the row of the bank is located. If there is a conflict, then it is determined whether to perform the refresh operation or the access operation for the current row of the bank. If it is determined to perform the access operation, the access operation is continued. If it is determined to perform the recess operation, the current row of the bank is refreshed. DRAM access performance is improved.

  • Patent number: 8099518
Abstract: The present invention provides a method and system for implementing asynchronous portal pages, comprising a portlet monitor resident on a web browser and implemented with a script. When a user interacts with a portlet, the portlet monitor sends a XMLHTTP request to the portal server. The portal server obtains the corresponding web contents from the corresponding portlet based on the request. Then, the web contents are modified and the HTTP requests therein are redirected to XMLHTTP requests. The portlet monitor uses the modified web contents to refresh the web contents of the corresponding portlet in the portal page without reloading the whole portal page. Besides, after the user submits a request for a portlet, during waiting for the portlet being refreshed, the user may continue to interact with other portlets. Thus, the present invention has the abilities of partially refreshing and asynchronous communication.

  • Patent number: 6980442
Abstract: A 384X-based burst mode PWM controller includes an oscillator to generate a pulse signal of a constant frequency, an output circuit to generate an output signal based on the pulse signal, an error amplifier to generate an amplified error signal, a logic control current source connecting to a current sense input of a comparator, the comparator which compares the voltage of the current sense input with the voltage of the error signal to generate a comparison signal, a PWM latch to generate a pulse control signal corresponding to the pulse signal and based on the comparison signal. The pulse control signal controls the output circuit and the logic control current source in opposite conditions of turning on and off. The controller can replace 384X directly and save energy.

  • Patent number: 5017548
Abstract: A method for producing high-temperature superconducting ceramic material through mechanical orientation including mixing starting materials in powdered form in proportions effective to produce a high-temperature superconducting oxide ceramic having anisotropic crystal grains and shaping the mixture. Next, the shaped mixture is calcined at a temperature ranging from 600.degree. to 900.degree. C. and fired at a temperature higher than 1,000.degree. C. in an oxygen atmosphere for a time effective to produce a superconducting oxide ceramic having crystal grains. According to the invention, the superconductive oxide ceramic is then pulverized into particles having either a plate-like form or a needle-like form based on the anisotropic form of the crystal grains. Particles of a selected size are placed into a vessel and vibrated with an acoustic vibrator means under conditions effective to cause the pulverized particles to turn toward a common preferred orientation to provide oriented particles.
