    Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein generally relate to technologies for evaluating a biological sample obtained from a subject with respect to a sepsis state or coronavirus disease (COVID). Some methods relating to the technologies can include receiving peptide structure data corresponding to the biological sample obtained from the subject, identifying a peptide structure profile for the biological sample using the peptide structure data, and computing a disease indicator using the peptide structure profile and a model. The disease indicator can indicate whether the biological sample is positive for the sepsis state. The disease indicator can indicate whether the biological sample is positive for COVID. The peptide structure profile can comprise quantification data for a set of peptide structures associated with the sepsis state. The peptide structure profile can include peptides that are glycosylated, aglycosylated, or both.

    Abstract: Generative adversarial models have several benefits; however, due to mode collapse, these generators face a quality-diversity trade-off (i.e., the generator models sacrifice generation diversity for increased generation quality). Presented herein are embodiments that improve the performance of adversarial content generation by decelerating mode collapse. In one or more embodiments, a cooperative training paradigm is employed where a second model is cooperatively trained with the generator and helps efficiently shape the data distribution of the generator against mode collapse. Moreover, embodiments of a meta learning mechanism may be used, where the cooperative update to the generator serves as a high-level meta task and which helps ensures the generator parameters after the adversarial update stay resistant against mode collapse. In experiments, tested employments demonstrated efficient slowdown of mode collapse for the adversarial text generators.

    Abstract: An information verification method based on a cloud security technology is provided. Before transmitting to-be-verified information including user information, a terminal device performs encryption processing on the to-be-verified information by using random numbers and a public key issued by a verification server, to obtain to-be-verified ciphertext information, which is to be used throughout transmission for logging into a server of a third-party application. The server of the third-party application cannot decrypt the to-be-verified information and the to-be-verified information may be obtained only by the verification server. The verification server transmits an application login success message to the terminal device based on decryption processing on the to-be-verified ciphertext information. In this way, the server of the third-party application may be logged in to without exposing privacy information of a user to the third-party application, thereby improving the security of identity verification.

    Abstract: Disclosed are an aperture-adjustable mixed-flow nozzle and its atomization method. The nozzle includes a cylindrical shell with an airflow chamber and a mixed-flow chamber. The airflow chamber is connected to an air inlet, and the mixed-flow chamber is connected to a liquid inlet. An nozzle is provided at the bottom wall of the mixed-flow chamber on the cylindrical shell. The cylindrical shell allows airflow from the airflow chamber to enter the mixed-flow chamber through an adjusting shaft. A swirling flow path is disposed around the outer periphery of the adjusting shaft, and a gas path for connecting the airflow chamber and the mixed-flow chamber is disposed inside the adjusting shaft. By adjusting the nozzle aperture size, not only is the problem of nozzle blockage resolved, but it also allows for control of atomization effects and spray field conditions, making it more effective for complex dust-producing environments on-site.

The method includes: obtaining an image of power equipment to be detected, where the image is one of an infrared image, an ultraviolet image, and a visible image; inputting the image into a pre-trained pixel-based power equipment detection model for detection, and performing classified prediction on pixels in the image to obtain a predicted result; and outputting a predicted image based on the predicted result, where the predicted image is power equipment image with background information removed, and is marked with a name of each piece of equipment. With the implementation of the present disclosure, efficiency and accuracy of power equipment detection can be improved.

    Abstract: A silencer or muffler for reducing noise of a heat dissipation or cooling fan includes an outer tube and at least one inner tube inside the outer tube. An annular space is formed between the inner and outer tubes. An inner cavity of the inner tube forms a ventilation channel. Partition plates are installed in the annular space that partition the annular space into silencing chambers arranged along a conveying direction of airflow. The inner tube includes openings communicating the silencing chambers with the ventilation channel. The silencing chambers are disposed correspondingly to silencing frequency bands. A limited installation space in an electronic device chassis can be used to achieve sound absorption and noise reduction for a heat dissipation fan in the silencing frequency bands.
