    Abstract: A memory device includes a memory cell array including a plurality of memory cell groups, and a decoder circuit configured to control selection of the memory cell groups. The decoder circuit includes an address decoder circuit configured to activate the decoder circuit based on an input address, a plurality of information retention circuits, each of which corresponds to one of the memory cell groups and outputting a signal that indicates whether or not the corresponding memory cell group is defective, a transistor having a gate connected to each of the outputs of the information retention circuits, and a signal output circuit configured to output a control signal for selecting or not selecting the memory cell groups based on an on/off state of the transistor.

    Abstract: Aspects of this disclosure provide techniques for dynamically configuring flow splitting via software defined network (SDN) signaling instructions. An SDN controller may instruct an ingress network node to split a traffic flow between two or more egress paths, and instruct the ingress network node, and perhaps downstream network nodes, to transport portions of the traffic flow in accordance with a forwarding protocol. In one example, the SDN controller instructs the network nodes to transport portions of the traffic flow in accordance with a link-based forwarding protocol. In other examples, the SDN controller instructs the network nodes to transport portions of the traffic flow in accordance with a path-based or source-based transport protocol.

    Abstract: Embodiments are provided for a location-based network discovery and connection establishment, which take advantage of location/positioning technology of user equipment (UE) and resolve issues above of the blind search approaches. The location-based network discovery and connection establishment schemes use UE location information and a network access MAP to speed up network discovery, and remove the need for continuous search and measurement by the UE. The schemes also reduce the search space. A wireless network access map (MAP) is provided to the UE. The UE uses the MAP information with UE current location information to reduce the search space and speed up network discovery and radio connection establishment with the network. Network operators can use this network access MAP to control the network access and manage the network load distribution. The network access MAP can be customized for each UE.

    Abstract: A conductive carbonaceous fiber is provided, comprising a carbonaceous material obtained from carbonizing an electrospun fiber wherein said fiber comprises at least one conductive metal precursor. The electrospun fibers can be formed into fibrous mats during spinning, stabilization and carbonization that are conductive materials which can be used to make stretchable conductors for flexible electronic devices. The invention relates also to the process for making the fibers, corresponding elastomeric fibrous mesh/polymer composites as well as use of these composites for making stretchable electrical conductors. The obtainable elastomeric composite films (with a thickness in the range of 0.8 to 1.5 mm) exhibit good electrical conductivity and excellent electromechanical stability under mechanical deformations (e.g. elongating, twisting and bending).

    Abstract: Interworking LWM2M and OMA DM protocols is disclosed. A new DDF MO enables adding LWM2M object definitions to DM Servers and Gateways. This MO allows a DM Server/Gateway to accept newly defined MOs, such as LWM2M Object definitions. New procedures are defined for registering DDF documents to the newly created DDF MO. A new registration interface is added in the GwMO protocol to allow an LWM2M Server to register end devices to a DM gateway. A protocol translation mechanism bridges the gap between non-RESTful to RESTful protocols, such as OMA DM and/or GwMO to LWM2M.

    Abstract: A system is disclosed for publication and discovery of M2M/IoT services. An M2M gateway system receives resource descriptions from M2M/IoT devices. The gateway system creates for each received resource description an individual web services description language file (WSDL-I file) recording information about the resource. The gateway identifies groups of services with similar characteristics and generates for each identified group a web service description file (WSDL-G file) recording information regarding the group. The WSDL-G files are communicated to a service registry infrastructure (SRI). A consumer system queries the SRI for services satisfying particular criteria and receives WSDL-G files for groups of services that satisfy the criteria. The consumer system requests the WSDL-I files corresponding to a selected WSDL-G files from the gateway.

    Abstract: This invention relates to a a one-step process for making a polymer composite suspension for coating plastic films characterized in that a first polymer is synthesized in-situ optionally in the presence of other polymers and in the presence of clay. Preferably the polymer composite suspension comprises a) 1.0 to 11.0 wt % of clay or silane modified clay, b) 0.1 to 10.0 wt % of poly (acrylic acid), which is a copolymer of acrylic acid (AA) with at least one other monomer selected from 2-ethylhexyl acrylate (EHA), ?-carboxyethyl acrylate (?-CEA), methacrylamidoethyl ethylene urea (WAM II) and ethoxylated behenyl methacrylate (?-EM), c) 1.0 to 15.0 wt % of other polymers, preferably poly (vinyl alcohol) and d) 70 to 97 wt % of water or mixture of water with 2-propanol. The coating films made from the suspensions show good barrier capabilities against water vapor and oxygen can be used to make barrier layers on or within plastic films for packaging applications.

In an embodiment, the method includes negotiating with a mobile device to determine a mobility prediction algorithm and a condition upon which the mobile wireless device will report the actual location of the mobile device, training the mobility prediction algorithm using prior mobile wireless device location and timestamp information, determining a predicted location of the mobile device using the mobility prediction algorithm, and setting an predicted location for the mobile device at a time as the actual location for the mobile device at the time when failing to receive a location report from the mobile wireless device, wherein the mobile device transmits actual location information after the training period only if the condition is met.
