Abstract: A control apparatus and a method for locking or unlocking a door include a smart key including a door locking and unlocking button provided thereon and configured for transmitting a control signal for locking or unlocking the door through a door locking and unlocking button; a smart key check module configured to determine whether the smart key is in a vehicle; and a door control module configured to determine whether the vehicle is in a started state or a turned-off state, determine whether to receive a control signal for locking or unlocking the door from the smart key according to a result of the determining whether the smart key is in the vehicle when the vehicle is in the started state, and control a corresponding door of the vehicle when receiving the control signal for locking or unlocking the door from the smart key.
