Abstract: This application discloses a flow entry generating method and apparatus. The method includes: receiving a service path establishment request, where the service path establishment request includes a constraint, a source device, and a target device; finding, in a data transmission network according to a cross-layer information model, a service path that meets the constraint and is from the source device to the target device, where the cross-layer information model is a model that describes, at a same layer, an overall topology relationship between an IP layer and an optical layer; and generating a respective corresponding flow entry for each forwarding device in the service path, and sending the flow entry to a corresponding forwarding device. This application can greatly reduce time complexity of computing the service path, and improve efficiency of computing the service path, thereby improving efficiency of generating a flow entry.

The method includes: a first network device establishes, a network-layer-based first communication connection with a second network device; the first network device sends a first registration request message to the second network device through the first communication connection, where the first registration request message is used to establish a virtual cluster with the second network device; after the first network device receives a registration response message, selecting the second network device as an active main control device in the virtual cluster system; establishes, a network-layer-based second communication connection with a third network device; sends, a second registration request message to the third network device; and selects the third network device as a standby main control device. In this invention, a structure of a cluster is simplified, and scalability of the cluster is improved.

Abstract: A method for processing presence information is disclosed. Presence information includes different values of a presence element, classes corresponding to the values and presentity information. Authentication configuration information of a presentity is obtained according to the presentity information. A right rule is obtained by resolving the authentication configuration information. The right rule includes a correlation configured by the presentity between a watcher identity and a class of a group that the watcher identity pertains to. A value of the presence element is sent to a corresponding watcher according to a correlation between the class corresponding to the value in the presence information and the class derived from the right rule obtained from the authentication configuration information.

Abstract: Provided are a method, an apparatus and a system for establishing an optical bypass. Abstract: A method and a system for processing an address book are provided. The method includes the following steps. A network address book (NAB) parses a user address book, and generates an acquisition request according to settings of the user address book. The NAB acquires contact information to be updated according to the acquisition request, and updates the user address book. The NAB synchronizes or transmits updated information of the user address book to a piece of user equipment (UE). By using the method, plenty of contact information is acquired according to the user settings. Therefore, the method solves the problems that the address books in the conventional technology have single-purpose functions and closely related to services and thus cannot serve as an independent function for providing services for the user.
