    Abstract: A robust header compression processing method and a robust header compressor are disclosed. The method includes: a compressor processing a plurality of data packets at the front of a packet flow by using an Internet Protocol (IP) identifier random behavior pattern, and determining an IP identifier behavior pattern according to characteristics of IP identifiers in the plurality of data packets at the front; and the compressor processing subsequent data packets of the packet flow according to the determined IP identifier behavior pattern. With the robust header compression processing method and the robust header compressor, waste of wireless resources can be avoided, and a utilization rate of the wireless resources can be enhanced.

With the present document, the probability of mistaking other compression packets for IR/IR-DYN messages due to bit errors of packet format fields can be reduced, and the correctness of packet format identification can be improved.

    Abstract: A method for compressing a user datagram protocol (UDP) data packet includes: when receiving an Internet Protocol version 4 (IPv4) UDP data packet, a compressor searching a context of the UDP data packet, if the context does not exist, creating the context of the UDP data packet, taking a value of an IP identifier (IP-ID) field of the UDP data packet as an initial value of a serial number (SN) of the context, and then compressing the UDP data packet according to the context. Also provided are methods and devices for compressing and decompressing a UDP data packet. The methods and devices can effectively improve the compression efficiency, reduce the probability of sending the IR/IRDYN packet, significantly reduce 1 byte transmission, improve the compression efficiency by 50%, and reduce the probability of using an extension header with a high capacity.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for compressing and decompressing a time stamp is provided, applied in a scenario of compressing a basic compression packet carrying an extended compression packet of type 3 in Robust Header Compression (ROHC). The compression method comprises: storing high bits of a time stamp to be transmitted in a time stamp field of the basic compression packet; storing bits of successive zeros beginning from the highest bit of the remaining bits of the time stamp to be transmitted after removing said high bits in the extended compression packet in a form of number information; and storing the remaining bits of the time stamp to be transmitted after removing said high bits and said bits of successive zeros in the time stamp field of the extended compression packet as low bits. Therefore the compression space can be effectively used and compression efficiency can be improved.

A packet data transmitting system for packet service domain is also disclosed, which can prolong the time window for confirming a PDU record in the SN window.
