  • Patent number: 11289092
Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for editing a text using speech recognition includes receiving, by a computer, a first voice input from a user comprising a first target word. The computer identifies instances of the first target word within the text and assigns a first numerical indicator to each instance of the first target word within the text. A selection is received from the user including the first numerical indicator corresponding to a starting point of a selection area. The computer receives a second voice input from the user including a second target word, identifies instances of the second target word within the text, assigns a second numerical indicator to each instance of the second target word, and receives a selection from the user including the second numerical indicator corresponding to an ending point of the selection area.

  • Publication number: 20190089544
Abstract: An encryption manager generates an unencrypted validation code to authenticate a transaction associated with a user profile. The encryption manager generates an encrypted validation code based on the unencrypted validation code and an encryption policy associated with the user profile. The encryption manager sends the encrypted validation code to a user device associated with the user profile. The transaction is authenticated if a decrypted validation code generated based on user input matches the unencrypted validation code.

  • Patent number: 8124841
Abstract: The present invention is directed to C-terminal truncated ?-amylase polypeptides, nucleic acid sequences encoding the truncated ?-amylase polypeptides, and methods of using the same. Further provided are expression cassettes, plants and plant parts expressing the nucleic acid sequence encoding the truncated ?-amylase. Expression of the truncated ?-amylase in a plant cell results in enhanced accumulation of biologically-active ?-amylase, or enhanced secretion of the ?-amylase from the plant cell, compared to the accumulation or secretion of a full length ?-amylase.

  • Publication number: 20100240082
Abstract: Methods are disclosed for detecting and measuring polysaccharide-hydrolyzing enzyme activity or concentration by partial hydrolysis using a pre-determined, yet short, incubation time and a pre-determined temperature. The resulting reaction mixture has unique chemical (i.e., reaction products) and physical (i.e., viscosity) properties that can be used to detect or measure the polysaccharide-hydrolyzing enzyme activity or concentration.

  • Publication number: 20060088691
Abstract: The present invention relates to a composite material used in beverage packaging bag easily penetrated by a straw. The composite material is made of more than two layers. A hole used for a straw is pre-punctured at least in one layer of the composite material. And at least one layer is not punctured so as to act as sealing layer. The present invention provides a composite material that is easy to be penetrated by a straw and has a reliable sealability. Moreover this kind of composite material is effective in cost and sanitary.
