    Abstract: The present invention relates to methods of inhibiting Mad2 function by using a peptide that binds to Mad2, designated Mad2 binding peptides (MBPs). More particularly, the Mad2 binding peptides may be used to inhibit cancer cell proliferation. Yet further, Mad2 binding peptides may be used in combination with a second cancer therapy, for example taxol.
