An uplink signal transmission method implemented on a UE side comprises: a UE determining, from at least one predefined candidate transmission position according to a preset rule, a transmission start position for transmitting an uplink signal; and beginning transmitting of the uplink signal at the determined transmission start position. In an uplink signal transmission method implemented on a base station side, an uplink scheduling grant (UL grant) is sent to schedule a UE to perform uplink transmission, and an uplink subframe sent by the UE is received; and a transmission start position of the uplink signal is determined in the uplink subframe.
