Publication number: 20240102386Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a construction method for a deformable anchor cable capable of being prestressed. The anchor cable includes an outer sleeve, a shrinkage pipe, an inner sleeve, a steel strand, an anchor and a tray. When the anchor cable is in use, a hole is drilled first, then the anchor cable is mounted in the drilled hole, and finally a prestress is applied to the steel strand of the anchor cable. According to the construction method, the construction is convenient; the anchor cable has the characteristics of high strength and large deformation, and can be easily prestressed; and the large deformation is realized by squeezing the inner sleeve by means of the anchor, which completely overcomes the problem of breaking a cold-drawn rod during the large deformation process.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 4, 2023Publication date: March 28, 2024Inventors: Xuezhen WU, Yujing JIANG, Tao DENG, Gang WANG, Zhenchang GUAN, Qing YE

Patent number: 9419455Abstract: A multimode battery charger circuit supporting switch mode and linear mode charging operations. In various embodiments, the multimode battery charging circuit includes mode control circuitry, a linear gate driver, a pulse width modulation (PWM) control circuit, a programmable constant current control loop circuit, and a programmable constant voltage control loop circuit. In operation, the mode control circuitry receives a charge mode indication signal corresponding to a desired charge mode. Based on this signal, the mode control circuitry enables either the linear gate driver or PWM control circuit to provide control signals to output transistors coupled between an adapter power port and a battery pack, thereby supporting a plurality of charging modes. In some embodiments, one or more of the output transistors are formed on a common substrate with the multimode battery charger circuit.Type: GrantFiled: September 30, 2013Date of Patent: August 16, 2016Assignee: BROADCOM CORPORATIONInventors: Xuezhen Wang, Russell Eliot Radke, Kerry Alan Thompson

Patent number: 9182780Abstract: The present application discloses various implementations of a power management unit (PMU) suitable for use in a mobile device. In one exemplary implementation, such a PMU includes a gain control block configured to control an oscillator coupled to the PMU. The gain control block is further configured to control a clock output stage of the PMU. The PMU also includes a signal protection circuit coupled to an input of the gain control block. The signal protection circuit is configured to preserve clock signals produced by the clock output stage during a transition to a standby mode.Type: GrantFiled: May 16, 2012Date of Patent: November 10, 2015Assignee: BROADCOM CORPORATIONInventors: Xuezhen Wang, Russell Radke, Jay E. Patent number: 9073808Abstract: A process for recovering unreacted olefin in a polyolefin manufacturing process comprising the treatment of a purge bin vent gas. The process involves cooling and condensing the vent gas (purge stream), which contains at least an olefin, a paraffin, and nitrogen, to produce a liquid condensate and an uncondensed (residual) gas stream. Both streams are then passed through membrane separation steps. The membrane separation of the uncondensed gas stream results in a residue stream containing mostly nitrogen and/or paraffin and a permeate stream enriched in either C2+ hydrocarbons or olefin, depending on the type of separation. The permeate from this step is recirculated within the process prior to the condensation step. The membrane separation of the condensate results in a residue stream containing paraffin and a permeate stream enriched in olefin, which may be recycled to the polymerization reactor.Type: GrantFiled: September 15, 2014Date of Patent: July 7, 2015Assignee: Membrane Technology and Research, Inc.Inventors: Paul Su, Nicholas P Wynn, Marc Jacobs, Xiaotong Wei, Sylvie Thomas-Droz, Xuezhen Wang

Publication number: 20070024377Abstract: Multi-band or wideband impedance matching in RF amplifiers is disclosed, using variable negative feedback. The feedback is provided by variable impedance connected between the input and output terminals of an inverting amplifier, which may be single-ended, or differential. The variable impedance is used in conjunction with a fixed input impedance matching network to tune the variable impedance to different frequencies. The variable impedance feedback can also be used for gain control, and has the added benefit of stabilizing the amplifier. Both multi-band and wideband amplification can be optimized through the use of the disclosed circuitry and techniques. Use of an output impedance matching network in conjunction with the RF amplifier is optional.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 28, 2005Publication date: February 1, 2007Inventors: Xuezhen Wang, Noshir Dubash, Douglas Schucker
