Abstract: A battery pack includes battery cells, a housing, and a circuit board. The battery cells and the circuit board are arranged inside the housing. The length of the housing is greater than the width of the housing, and the length of the housing is greater than the height of the housing. One of the two sides in the height direction of the housing is provided with a power terminal for outputting electric power. The two sides in the width direction of the housing are respectively provided with a battery charge display device, which includes battery charge indicator lights mounted on the circuit board and electrically connected to the battery cells. The two sides in the width direction of the housing are respectively provided with a window for transmitting light from the battery charge indicator lights.

The upper housing section is connected with the lower housing section through a damping means including at least a damping element positioned on the inner surface the upper housing section and on the periphery of the motor housing section, the damping element engaged with engagement member. The arrangement of the damping means simplifies the connection between the upper and lower housing sections, while effectively reducing the vibrations in the horizontal and vertical directions when the sander is in use.
