  • Publication number: 20150187244
Abstract: A method for testing a display panel includes: applying a first level signal to a first sub-pixel and a third sub-pixel of a first pixel unit and applying a second level signal to a second sub-pixel of the first pixel unit; applying the second level signal to a first sub-pixel and a third sub-pixel of a second pixel unit and applying the first level signal to a second sub-pixel of the second pixel unit; and detecting a short circuit between adjacent sub-pixels. The first level signal has a voltage polarity opposite to a voltage polarity of the second level signal. Therefore, it is ensured that any two adjacent sub-pixels have opposite voltage polarities when the short circuit between adjacent sub-pixels of the display panel is detected. The method also provides improved testing abilities to detect an open circuit in a sub-pixel.

  • Publication number: 20150177875
Abstract: A signal detecting method for a touch panel, a touch panel, and a display device are disclosed. The touch panel includes: several driving lines, several sensing lines, several driving electrodes, and several sensing electrodes; and also includes: a driving module configured to provide driving signals to the respective driving electrodes to drive the respective driving electrodes; a first detection module configured to detect a first signal representing a capacitance between a particular driven driving electrode and each of the sensing electrodes; a reusing module configured to, when one of the driving electrode is driven, reuse at least one driving electrode other than the driven driving electrode to additionally function as a sensing electrode; and a second detection module configured to detect a second signal representing a capacitance between the driven driving electrode and the at least one reused driving electrode which additionally functions as a sensing electrode.

  • Publication number: 20150138057
Abstract: A liquid crystal display device is disclosed. The display device includes gate drive ASG circuits, and a driver integrated circuit configured to connect wires from gate line output terminals of the ASG circuits with a client system. The ASG circuits output level signals to the client system, and the client system is configured to determine a duration time during which the level signals from the ASG circuits exceed a preset level signal threshold value, and in response to the duration time being less than the preset time threshold value, the driver integrated circuit receives an adjusted signal code required for operation of the ASG circuits, and the driver integrated circuit drives the ASG circuits according to the adjusted signal code required for operation of the ASG circuits.

  • Publication number: 20150116258
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and a device for locating a touch point on a touch region, and an electronic equipment, wherein the touch region comprises a plurality of partitions. The method includes detecting a current value of a parameter of each partition, and acquiring a reference value of the parameter and a preset threshold value of the parameter; determining a touched partition according to the current value of the parameter, the reference value of the parameter and the preset threshold value; scanning the touched partition to locate at least one touch point. The method also includes scanning at least one partition adjacent to the touched partition to locate the touch point while the touched partition is being scanned.

  • Publication number: 20150109217
Abstract: A touch scanning method includes, in the absence of a touch, performing a coarse scanning on the touch screen, and in the presence of a touch, performing a fine scanning on a full detection-activated region containing a touch point while performing the coarse scanning on the remaining region other than the full detection-activated region. During coarse scanning, in first M frames of M+N successive frames, drive lines spaced apart from one another by at least one of the drive lines are driven, and sense lines spaced apart from one another by at least one of the sense lines are detected. In the succeeding N frames of the M+N frames, there is no activity in the drive and sense lines. During the fine scanning, each drive line and each sense line within the full detection-activated region is driven and detected, respectively.

  • Publication number: 20080138194
Abstract: A cooling fan, frame structure of the cooling fan, and a heat generating device comprising the fan are provided. The frame structure comprises a body with an air inlet and outlet. The body has at least one set of assembling holes which are spaced a certain distance apart from each other either along the inner peripheral of the outlet or along the two outer opposite edges. The frame structure further comprises at least one active anti-dust baffle with two pins that are disposed in the assembling holes. The active anti-dust baffle is adapted to automatically rotate into a closed position when the cooling fan shuts down to effectively prevent the undesired outside objects from getting into the heat generating device.
