  • Publication number: 20180316633
Abstract: A system and machine-implemented method for determining whether a data item corresponds to a coincident event. Time data is received for a first data item and for a second data item. A determination is made whether the time data for the first data item corresponds to the time data for the second data item. A determination is made that the first data item and the second data item correspond to a coincident event, if the time data corresponds. Additional data is identified for the coincident event, wherein the additional data is based on at least one of the first data item or the second data item. The corresponding time data and the additional data are compared with data of a third data item. A determination is made that the third data item corresponds to the coincident event based on the comparison.

  • Patent number: 9886415
Abstract: Implementations relate to prioritized data transmission features over networks. A method can include deriving description data from content data. The description data describes content of the content data and includes one or more portions corresponding to one or more portions of the content data. The description data is transmitted to a destination over a network to be made accessible over the network at the destination to one or more users. The content data also is transmitted to the destination to be made accessible. At least one portion of the description data finishes transmitting and is made accessible before its corresponding portion of the content information finishes transmitting and is made accessible.

  • Patent number: 7215175
Abstract: An improved circuit for sensing and programming fuses in integrated circuits. The circuit is broadly comprised of a fuse cell, a reference circuit, a sense amplifier and a level detector. In one embodiment of the present invention, a two-stage sensing scheme is implemented. The improved fuse sensing circuit uses current-mode sensing and implements an auto-read current reduction scheme. Using a level-detect circuit, the virtual ground is raised automatically if the high-voltage power supply exceeds core supply (Vdd) by a fixed dc voltage. This reduces effective sensing voltage and the read current and thus helps preserve unblown fuse integrity. In one embodiment of the invention, four modes of operation are implemented: “Normal Read,” “Unblown_Read,” “Blown_Read_1” and “Blown_Read_2.” The default read mode is the “normal read” while the “Unblown” and “Blown” read modes are for fuse calibration purposes.

  • Publication number: 20050004226
Abstract: The invention provides compositions and methods suitable for ameliorating female sexual dysfunction, and in particular, female sexual arousal disorder. In preferred embodiments, the invention provides a semisolid composition suitable for topical application comprising: an effective amount of a vasoactive prostaglandin, a penetration enhancer, a polymer thickener, a lipophilic component, and an acidic buffer system. In other embodiments, the invention provides a method of treating female sexual arousal disorder by applying an effective dose of a topical semisolid prostaglandin composition to the anterior wall of the vagina.

  • Patent number: 6224573
Abstract: A disposable applicator for dispensing a desired quantity of a substantially non-runny medicant medicament, including a housing, a plunger and a replaceable cap. The housing is generally tubular having opposing proximal and distal ends and a tapered inner surface extending therebetween. The distal end terminates in a dispensing nozzle that defines a dispensing passageway in substantial coaxial alignment with the housing, while the inner surface has an alignment device. The plunger has a peripheral edge and is configured for axial movement within the housing, where the peripheral edge is aligned by the alignment device and slidingly guided by the inner surface, supporting the plunger therein. The plunger is configured for slidable advancement toward the dispensing opening by exertion of force by a user, so as to urge the medicament through the passageway.
