  • Publication number: 20170040794
Abstract: A power supply device adapted to being coupled to an electronic apparatus through an input interface is provided. The power supply device includes a first-polarity voltage line, a second-polarity voltage line, and an output interface. The first-polarity voltage line and the second-polarity voltage line are disconnected with each other. The output interface is configured to supply a power to the electronic apparatus through the input interface. When the output interface is externally approached or forced by the input interface, the output interface chooses one of the first-polarity voltage line and the second-polarity voltage line as a chosen voltage line for the power. Multiple power supply devices may be arranged to be a power supply system.

  • Publication number: 20150207865
Abstract: An event notification system, an event notification method, and a scene playing unit are provided. The event notification system includes a scene playing unit, a sound and light control unit, and a processing unit. The sound and light control unit controls the scene playing unit to play at least one of a scene light and a scene sound. The processing unit executes a communication service module. The communication service module creates, edits or receives scene setting data, edits a notification event used for indicating a notification time, generates a scene event according to the scene setting data and the notification event, and drives the sound and light control unit to control the scene playing unit to play at least one of the scene light and the scene sound at the notification time according to the scene event. A personalized scene sound and light effect at the notification time is played.

  • Patent number: 7171360
Abstract: A speaker identification system includes a speaker model generator 110 for generating a plurality of speaker models. To this end, the generator records training utterances from a plurality of speakers in the background, without prior knowledge of the speakers who spoke the utterances. The generator performs a blind clustering of the training utterances based on a predetermined criterion. For each of the clusters a corresponding speaker model is trained. A speaker identifier 130 identifies a speaker determining a most likely one of the speaker models for an utterance received from the speaker. The speaker associated with the most likely speaker model is identified as the speaker of the test utterance.

  • Patent number: 6374210
Abstract: A system 100 is capable of segmenting a connected text, such as Japanese or Chinese sentence, into words. The system includes means 110 for reading an input string representing the connected text. Segmentation means 120 identifies at least one word sequence in the connected text by building a tree structure representing word sequence(s) in the input string in an iterative manner. Initially the input string is taken as a working string. Each word of a dictionary 122 is compared with the beginning of the working string. A match is represented by a node in the tree, and the process is continued with the remaining part of the input string. The system further includes means 130 for outputting at least one of the identified word sequences. A language model may be used to select between candidate sequences. Preferably the system is used in a speech recognition system to update the lexicon based on representative texts.
