    Abstract: A superabsorbent polymer and a method of fabricating the same are provided. The method includes performing a free radical polymerization reaction to a superabsorbent polymer component, so as to obtain a colloid gel. The colloid gel is cut by using a pulverizer to obtain superabsorbent polymer particles. The pulverizer has a perforated plate with changeable hole diameters, which has a first diameter of an inlet hole greater than a second diameter of an outlet hole. The method further includes performing a surface cross-linking reaction to the superabsorbent polymer particles, so as to obtain the superabsorbent polymer. Therefore, a bulk density, an absorption rate and a liquid permeability of the obtained superabsorbent polymer can be increased.

    Abstract: The invention discloses a small token device, ideally about the size of a key, which can plug into the USB interface of a host computer, which need not be fully trusted, and handle a variety of different security functions. The device is capable of serving as a secure USB hub, and thus can function on a host computer that only has one available USB port. Among the multiple functions that the device can perform include communicating through the internet in a secure manner, storing data in a secure manner, and access secure information through public key (PKI) methods. The invention also allows secure USB peripherals to maintain security while being hooked up to either a non-secure host computer or other non-secure USB peripherals.

    Abstract: A semiconductor memory device with internal self-refreshing is provided. The invented memory device has a programmable internal oscillator for controlling a self-refreshing time period. The internal oscillator obviates the need for an external signal for refreshing data stored in the device's memory cells. The pin-out configuration of the device is analogous to the pin-out configuration of an SRAM device, so that the invented device can replace an SRAM device on a circuit board. The self-refreshing time period is programmable to different time periods depending upon the intended use of the device for minimizing power consumption by the device. The oscillator provides an output pulse for incrementing an address counter which generates internal refreshing addresses and also activates a memory word line for memory cell refreshing. A comparator compares an external address and the internal refreshing address generated by the counter.
