Abstract: In a warning method of screening applications executable executed by an electronic device, at least one executable file of an application is screened and compared with advertisement features in an advertisement feature library. The application is determined whether to include one or more advertisements. When the application includes one or more advertisements, a sign is marked on an icon of the application which is displayed on a display device of the electronic device. When receiving an instruction to execute the application which includes one or more advertisement, a warning massage is outputted to request for confirmation to execute the application.
