  • Publication number: 20200314301
Abstract: A lens module includes a lens barrel and a number of lenses mounted in the lens barrel. The lens barrel includes a peripheral wall and a top wall. The top wall includes a light transmission hole. The top wall further includes a light shielding portion surrounding an opening of the light transmission hole. A distal end of the light shielding portion extends toward the plurality of lenses and blocks light.

  • Publication number: 20200233176
Abstract: A camera lens to reduce abnormal images by rejecting stray or oblique light before it can reach an image sensor includes a hollow lens barrel, a lens assembly received in the lens barrel, and a light shield assembly received in the lens barrel. The lens assembly includes at least two lenses arranged from object side to image side. The light shield assembly includes light shields, each light shield being sandwiched between adjacent two lenses and defining a through hole. An inner wall of the through hole defines an inclined surface, the inclined surface reflects stray and/or oblique light back towards the object side, thus stray light is eliminated. The disclosure further provides a lens module and an electronic device including the camera lens.

  • Publication number: 20200233173
Abstract: A lens assembly includes a lens barrel, a lens group, a gasket, and a light shielding group. The lens group includes a number of lenses. The light shielding group includes a number of shielding sheets defining a through hole. The gasket is located between two lenses on a light exiting side of the lens assembly. An inner portion of the gasket defines an inner hole for transmitting light. An aperture of the inner hole increases from an object side of the lens assembly to an image side of the lens assembly. An aperture D1 of the through hole adjacent to the gasket and adjacent to the object side, an aperture D2 of the inner hole adjacent to the object side, and an aperture D3 of the through hole adjacent to the gasket and adjacent to the image side satisfy a relationship 0.65<D1/D2<0.85; and D3?D2.

  • Publication number: 20200169652
Abstract: A fixing ring of a certain design for a lens module substantially reduces stray light. The fixing ring defines a central axis, and comprises a base surface and a processing surface, formed from an edge of the base surface. A first angle ?1 exists between a first side cut surface and a surface perpendicular to the central axis, a distance L1 and the first angle ?1 satisfy formulas 0.015 mm<L1<0.025 mm and 20°<?1<40°. The disclosure further provides a lens module and an electronic device comprising the fixing ring. An anti-dazzle film, matching with the fixing ring to completely absorb stray light, is included in the lens module.

  • Publication number: 20200158981
Abstract: A spacer for fixing a distance between adjacent lenses of a lens module carries an internal shape reducing the incidence of stray reflected light. The spacer defines a through hole to allow light to pass and a prismatic protrusion is disposed on a wall of the through hole. A first inclined surface of the prismatic protrusion is connected to an end surface of spacer and to a second inclined surface of the prismatic protrusion. The second inclined surface is connected to other end surface of spacer. Acute angle ?1 is formed between the first inclined surface and end surface, and acute angle ?2 is formed between the second inclined surface and other end surface. Relationship between the acute angles are ?1>?2, and 60°??1+?2?80°. A lens module using such a spacer is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20200158982
Abstract: A camera lens with complete symmetry reduces or avoids light deviation and stray light reflections in a lens group, notwithstanding manufacturing marks and defects. A lens barrel and a lens group are also disclosed. The lens barrel is a hollow structure for receiving the lens group. The lens group defining at least one recess on an outer sidewall as a manufacturing mark receives a layer of black glue to improve the integrity of shape. A lens module and an electronic device using such a camera lens is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20200158988
Abstract: A retaining ring for retaining lenses in a lens module carries an internal shape reducing the incidence of stray reflected light. The through hole in the retaining ring allows light to pass and a prismatic protrusion is disposed on a wall of the through hole. The protrusion has first and second inclined surfaces each at a specific angle. Acute angle ?1 is formed between the first inclined surface and end surface of ring, and acute angle ?2 is formed between the second inclined surface and other end surface of ring. Relationship between the acute angles are ?1>?2, and 60°??1+?2?80°. A lens module using such a retaining ring is also provided.
