    Abstract: An electric motor with double stators includes a first stator, a first stator and a rotor assembly. The rotor assembly is located between the first stator and the second stator in a radial direction. The rotor assembly includes a rotor body, a plurality of first rotor slots, a plurality of second rotor slots, a plurality of first magnets, and a plurality of second magnets. A first air gap is formed between the rotor body and the first stator, and a second air gap is formed between the rotor body and the second stator. The material of the first magnets is different to the material of the second magnets, and any position of the first magnets is different to any position of the second magnets.

    Abstract: A motor parameter estimation method includes obtaining an operation signal of a motor, wherein the operation signal includes an encoder signal, a phase current and a driving voltage, obtaining a number of poles according to the encoder signal and the phase current, performing a simulation procedure according to the driving voltage, the number of poles and an initial random parameter set, wherein the simulation procedure is calculating a simulation response current, calculating an error value between the simulation response current and the phase current, determining whether the error value falls into a threshold range, if the error value falls outside of the threshold range, performing the simulation procedure according to the driving voltage, the number of poles and an update random parameter set, and if the error value falls into of the threshold range, outputting the number of poles and the initial random parameter set.

The housing includes a base portion on the passivation layer, a sidewall portion upwardly extending from the base portion, a cap portion connected at a top of the sidewall portion, an orifice in the cap portion, and a notch in the cap portion and adjacent to the orifice. The assembly also includes a translucent filter positioned in the notch and covering the orifice, and a pocket defined by an enclosed area in between the sidewall portion, the cap portion, the filter, and the passivation layer. The micro LED is encased within the pocket such that light transmitted from the micro LED directly hits and passes through the filter.
