The second common electrode is disposed on the second substrate. The conductive particle is disposed on the first common pad, and is electrically connected to the first common pad and the second common electrode.     Abstract: A friction transmission mechanism for a motor-driven blind is constructed to include a driving unit, and at least one cord roll-up unit controlled to the driving unit to lift/lower or tilt the slats of the motor-driven Venetian blind. Each cord roll-up unit includes an amplitude modulation wheel controlled by the driving unit to lift/lower the slats and bottom rail of the Venetian blind, a frequency modulation wheel for rotation with the amplitude modulation set to tilt the slats of the Venetian blind, spring means, which forces the frequency modulation wheel into friction-engagement with the amplitude modulation wheel, and a support supporting the amplitude modulation wheel, the support having a shoulder adapted to act with a protruding block of the frequency modulation wheel and to further limit angle of rotation of the frequency modulation wheel.

The cutting device has a blade which moves back and forth to execute the cutting of the Venetian blind. The lower half cutting edge of the blade provides the downward and the inward cutting forces to execute the cutting of the Venetian blind. The revolution rate and the feed rate of the blade are regulated by a controller in accordance with the nature of a material of which the Venetian blind is made.

    Abstract: A slat-lifting mechanism of the Venetian blind is composed of a slat set, a pull set, a slat pull cord, and a locating set. The slat set has a plurality of slats. The pull set has a pull cord member and a spring retrieving unit which is linked with the pull cord member. The slat pull cord has one end that is put through the slat set, and other end that is fastened with the pull set. The locating set is disposed in the traveling path of the slat pull cord and is capable of bringing about a friction resistance which is greater than a retrievable pull force of the spring retrieving unit for overcoming the pulling force of the slat pull cord, so as to control the pulling or the releasing of the slat pull cord. The slat set can be thus located by the locating set.

    Abstract: A Venetian blind is provided with a slat-lifting mechanism consisting of a slat set, a slat pull cord, and a constant torque pull set. The slat set has a plurality of slats. The slat pull cord is connected with each of the slats of the slat set and is put through the bottommost end of the slat set. The constant torque pull set is disposed at the top end of the slat set and composed of a pull cord member and a constant torque spring unit which is linked with the pull cord member and provided with a constant torque spring which has a constant retrieving force enabling the pull cord member to rewind. The constant retrieving force of the constant torque spring must meet the condition of W-Fs<R<W+Fs, in which W stands for a total weight of the slat set; Fs, a system static friction force; and R, a retrievable elastic force of the constant torque spring.
