  • Publication number: 20240095987
Abstract: Techniques for generating content associated with a user input/system generated response are described. Natural language data associated with a user input may be generated. For each portion of the natural language data, ambiguous references to entities in the portion may be replaced with the corresponding entity. Entities included in the portion may be extracted, and image data representing the entity may be determined. Background image data associated with the entities and the portion may be determined, and attributes which modify the entities in the natural language sentence may be extracted. Spatial relationships between two or more of the entities may further be extracted. Image data representing the natural language data may be generated based on the background image data, the entities, the attributes, and the spatial relationships. Video data may be generated based on the image data, where the video data includes animations of the entities moving.

  • Patent number: 8442474
Abstract: An apparatus and method for demodulating an FM RF signal is presented. An Adaptive Differentiate Cross Multiply (ADCM) system in which the energy estimate of the desired on-channel RF is generated using adaptive filtering. The adaptive filter includes low pass filtering of the instantaneous energy estimate. The bandwidth of the LPF is adjusted in real time based on the received signal strength energy estimate, the periodicity of any changes in the energy estimate, AGC setting for the receiver, and/or the type of sub-audible signaling applied to the RF signal if known. After the bandwidth is set, the optimum filtered energy estimate is applied to the system to demodulate the received information free from distortion artifacts associated with IQ imbalance. A normalized signal in the ADCM system is clipped by a limiter whose clipping threshold is equal to a maximum gain of differentiators in the ADCM system.

  • Publication number: 20050027494
Abstract: A method of building a model for a physical plant in the presence of noise can include initializing the model of the physical plant, wherein the model is characterized by a parameter vector, estimating an output of the model, and computing a composite cost comprising a weighted average of an error between the estimated output from the model and an actual output of the physical plant, and a derivative of the error. The method further can include determining a step size and a model update direction. The model of the physical plant can be updated. The updating step can be dependent upon the step size. Another embodiment can include the steps of determining a Kalman gain and determining an error vector comprised of two entries weighted by a scalar parameter.
