At least one contact on the contact list may be associated with an indication that outgoing phone calls, that are attempted to be placed from the phone towards that contact, are to be blocked by the phone. The blocking of the attempt to place an outgoing phone call to a contact may be overridden by the user of the phone, for example, by confirming in response to a confirmation question, or by correctly providing a password or a pre-defined response to a question. Optionally, the phone may automatically analyze call logs and other data in order to recommend to the user contacts that are suitable for being associated with outgoing call blocking; for example, a contact corresponding to a person or entity that the user have not called frequently or for a long time.
