Abstract: This disclosure provides a perivalvular leakage preventing material, a perivalvular leakage preventing component, a perivalvular leakage preventing skirt, a mold, a prosthetic heart valve, a prosthetic implant, and related methods. The adaptive perivalvular leakage preventing component includes: a sheet-like, stretchable flexible substrate made of polyurethane material, and one or more protrusions attached to the flexible substrate and made of polyurethane material, wherein each protrusion has a pore structure, and a connection between the flexible substrate and the protrusions is achieved by curing polyurethane solution. The perivalvular leakage preventing component of this disclosure enables the inflow end of the stent to form an adaptive sealing effect, thereby reducing perivalvular leakage.
