  • Patent number: 8582461
Abstract: A method includes determining attributes of multiple Code-Division Multiple Access (CDMA) signals, which are to be superimposed to form a composite CDMA signal for transmission by a wireless transmitter. A predefined analytical formula, which computes a Cubic Metric of the composite CDMA signal as a function of the attributes, is evaluated. Transmission of the composite CDMA signal by the wireless transmitter is controlled based on the computed Cubic Metric.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 11, 2011
Date of Patent: November 12, 2013
    Assignee: Marvell World Trade Ltd
    Inventor: Yakir Ovadia

  • Patent number: 7684806
Abstract: Some embodiments of the invention provide devices, systems and methods of point to multipoint communication. For example, an apparatus in accordance with an embodiment of the invention includes a resource allocator to allocate a wireless communication channel resource to one or more stations of a wireless communication system based on a net benefit function that takes into account an overhead incurred by controlling the allocation of said channel resource.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: March 23, 2010
    Assignee: Intel Corporation
Inventors: Yakir Ovadia, Nadav Shulman, Daniel Yellin, Sharon Levy, Yona Perets
  • Patent number: 7574214
Abstract: Briefly, some embodiments of the invention provide devices, systems and methods of wireless multiple access transmission. For example, a method in accordance with an embodiment of the invention may include estimating channel quality values of a set of pilot signals received at different, respective, frequency slots of an uplink channel; and allocating an uplink frequency band for the uplink channel based on the estimated channel quality values.
