Abstract: There is provided, in accordance with some embodiments of the present invention, an apparatus, a method and a system for enabling at least a first device and a second device to establish communication and transmission of media and/or gaming data. The present invention is a method, apparatus and system for transmitting media and/or gaming (“media/gaming”) data from a mobile media and/or gaming device (“mobile media/gaming device”) to one or more presentation (e.g. audio and/or video) devices.

Abstract: Provided are isolated nucleic acid molecules which comprise VRN1 nucleotide sequences, which encode a polypeptide which is capable of specifically altering the vernalisation response of a plant into which the nucleic acid is introduced and expressed. Examples include cDNA and gDNA sequences (see e.g., Annex I). Also provided are variant molecules which may be derivatives or homologues (e.g., alleles, or paralogues such as RTV1), plus also complementary molecules. Corresponding polypeptides form a further part of the invention. The invention also provides methods and materials for preparing and using these molecules, e.g., in the production of plants having modified vernalisation characteristics. Also provided are methods for influencing and assessing the vernalisation phenotype of a plant.

Abstract: Method and apparatus for testing the operation of an integrated circuit (IC) while maintaining the supply input to the IC constantly active during the test. A logic indication signal that provides a first logic level indicating the active state of the supply input and a second logic level indicating the inactive state of the supply input, is generated. The inactive state of the supply input is simulated by processing the first logic level and by generating a third logic level that is essentially similar, or identical, to the second logic level. The third logic level is applied to one or more signal-carrying contacts within the IC and these, or other, signal-carrying contacts within the IC are accessed and their corresponding signal values responsive to the applied third logic level are read. One or more read signal values are compared with the one or more values expected for such readings.
