Abstract: A refrigerator comprises a case defining a storage compartment, and at least one door assembly. Each door assembly comprises: a door, arranged in front of the case and used for opening or closing the storage compartment; and a translation means, arranged on the top of the case. The translation means comprises: a lateral slider, directly or indirectly mounted on the case and capable of moving relative to the case along a lateral direction of the case; and a longitudinal slider, mounted on the lateral slider and capable of moving relative to the lateral slider along a front-and-rear direction of the case. The door is fixed on the longitudinal slider to translate with the longitudinal slider along the front-and-rear direction of the case and translate with the lateral slider along the lateral direction of the case, so as to open or close the storage compartment.
