Abstract: Example devices and techniques for multi-pass decoder-side motion vector refinement (DMVR) are disclosed. An example device includes memory configured to store video data and one or more processors coupled to the memory. The one or more processors are configured to apply a multi-pass DMVR to a motion vector for a block of the video data to determine at least one refined motion vector and decode the block based on the at least one refined motion vector. The multi-pass DMVR includes a block-based first pass, a sub-block-based second pass, and a sub-block-based third pass.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to an image processing method, a device and a computer-readable storage medium. The method includes obtaining a first reference image and a second reference image of a reference object. The method further includes determining a first constraint and a second constraint based on the first reference image and the second reference image. The first constraint is related to a difference between different depth maps of the same reference images, and the second constraint is related to a depth consistency of different reference images. The method further includes training a depth estimation model at least based on the first constraint and the second constraint. In this way, an obtained trained depth estimation model may provide more accurate depth information.

Abstract: A simulated dataset is queried for regression by validating a structured query language (SQL) statement, determining a pattern type of the SQL statement, reconstructing the SQL statement according to a predetermined process for the pattern type, creating a mutated SQL statement for querying a simulated dataset, and validating the mutated SQL statement. The simulated dataset is based on a confidential dataset having the confidential elements removed or replaced.

Abstract: A release control method for volatile compounds in an electric heating smoking system includes steps of powering the at least a heating element with a constant electric current as a test electric current, measuring a voltage value of two ends of the element under the test electric current, comparing the measured voltage value with a preset voltage threshold value, and adjusting power energy supplied to the heating element so that the measured voltage value of the heating element under the test electric current is kept less than the preset voltage threshold value. By the above control method, only voltage values under constant electric currents are tested and measured, and an electric energy output to the heating element is correspondingly adjusted to keep the voltage values being less than the preset voltage threshold value in order for achieving good control of working states of the electric heating smoke system.

The gesture recognition method includes: obtaining an image stream, and determining, based on a plurality of consecutive frames of hand images in the image stream, whether a user makes a preparatory action; when the user makes the preparatory action, continuing to obtain an image stream, and determining a gesture action of the user based on a plurality of consecutive frames of hand images in the continuously obtained image stream; and next, further responding to the gesture action to implement gesture interaction with the user. In this application, the preparatory action is determined before gesture recognition is performed, so that erroneous recognition occurring in a gesture recognition process can be reduced, thereby improving a gesture recognition effect.

Valuation of the virtual space can occur based on various requests and use metrics of that virtual space and provide a marketplace for the addition of virtual content. Layers or groups of virtual spaces can be created and enabled or disabled by a user viewing the representation with the virtual space. Other rules associated with the virtual spaces or content for display in a virtual space can be provided or stored in a database to enable dynamic display of the content and use of the virtual spaces.
