  • Publication number: 20240122581
Abstract: Provided are methods, systems, devices, and computer readable media for determining fertility level indicators or an ovulation status for a subject. This includes receiving, at a processor in communication with a memory, a voice sample from the subject; extracting, at the processor, at least one voice feature value from the voice sample for at least one predetermined voice feature; determining, at the processor, an ovulation status for the subject based on the at least one voice feature value; and outputting, at an output device, (i) a fertility level indicator for the subject based on the ovulation status, and/or (ii) an ovulation status indicator for the subject based on the ovulation status.

  • Publication number: 20240013915
Abstract: Provided are methods and systems for generating a model for determining blood glucose levels using voice samples and associated embodiments. Different criteria for selecting voice features as biomarkers for determining blood glucose levels were investigated. Models generated using voice features selected using multiple criteria including a univariate measure, a measure of intra-stability of the voice feature and a measure of the decision-making ability of the voice feature were found to discriminate between subjects with different blood glucose levels and perform better than models generated using fewer criteria. The described embodiments can be used to generate models useful for integration into various applications for predicting blood glucose levels using voice.

  • Publication number: 20230082431
Abstract: A multivariate spirometer and associated systems and methods are described. The spirometer has a housing defining a flow path and one or more sensors for detecting CO2 concentration values, temperature and/or flow rates of air in the flow path. The spirometer may be configured to generate time series data by sampling CO2 concentration values, temperature and/or flow rates at a predetermined frequency during inhalation and/or exhalation. Optionally, a processor is used to generate one or more output readings based on the CO2 concentration values, temperatures and/or flow rates.

  • Publication number: 20220382223
Abstract: Described are methods and systems for evaluating glycemic control and glucose homeostasis in a subject. Also described is a model of glucose homeostasis based on proportional and integral terms in a control system. A representative curve is generated based on glucose time series data and fit to the model in order to determine coefficients for each subject. The coefficients provide a digital biomarker of glycemic control for the subject and may be used to identify subjects with glycemic dysfunction.

  • Patent number: 11058352
Abstract: A method of simulating a tremor in a subject and evoking an empathetic response in the subject towards a patient suffering from tremors, the method comprising: synthesizing a tremor inducing signal, which may be done by capturing and analyzing EMG measures of electrical pulses derived from a sensed neuromuscular event associated with tremors experienced by a patient; and applying an electrical muscle stimulation to the subject using the synthesized pulses associated with the patient experiencing tremors.

  • Publication number: 20200388363
Abstract: Embodiments described herein provide a method and apparatus for creating a representative medical report customized for a specific patient. The method retrieves medical findings for the patient and allows a doctor or user to enter those findings into a virtual realization screen. The virtual realization screen allows the doctor to pin localized conditions to the locations on the specific patient where the condition occurs. Diffuse conditions are painted onto affected segments. Multiple segments of a patient's body or body system may be jointed together so that the patient is teleported through their specific medical report.
