    Abstract: A fin and a heat exchanger having the fin, wherein the fin includes a sheet body. The sheet body includes a plurality of cooling sheet units arranged along a longitudinal direction of the sheet body. Each cooling sheet unit includes a windward zone, a main heat exchange zone and a leeward zone arranged along a transverse direction of the sheet body. The windward zones of adjacent cooling sheet units are connected to each other. A flat tube groove extends between the leeward zone and the main heat exchange zone of one of the adjacent cooling sheet units and the leeward zone and the main heat exchange zone of the other of the adjacent cooling sheet units. A temperature compensator to apply a temperature compensation current to the resistor divider to create a temperature compensated resistor divider voltage. A power transistor is to be enabled when the temperature compensated resistor divider voltage is less than the bandgap reference voltage. The example load switch can work under negative output voltage clamping and get better accuracy drain to source clamped voltage of power transistor for inductive load condition.

By calibrating the step counting frequency and/or the effective value of step counting pace of the three-axis acceleration sensor, error in the step counting caused by different walking paces of a user and different step counting frequencies of the three-axis acceleration sensors are avoided, improving accuracy of step counting. Also, the calibration improves the accuracy by handling ineffective step counting in the step counting data.

    Abstract: Link role determination in a dual-mode Peripheral Component Interconnect express (PCIe) device is disclosed. In this regard, determining a link role for a dual-mode PCIe device involves configuring the dual-mode PCIe device to operate in a root complex (RC) mode or an endpoint mode. The dual-mode PCIe device first performs a configuration and initiation sequence on a wire-based PCIe link in the RC mode. If the configuration and initiation sequence on the wire-based PCIe link is unsuccessful, then the dual-mode PCIe device invokes a random delay and switches to the endpoint mode at expiration of the random delay. By determining a link role of the dual-mode PCIe device based on the configuration and initiation sequence, it is possible to configure dynamically the dual-mode PCIe device to operate in the RC mode or the endpoint mode, thus allowing flexible configuration of the dual-mode PCIe device based on various application scenarios.

One challenge is that an existence of outliers can often complicate the analysis of such experimental results. Thus, a procedure is provided herein to detect and remove outliers from experimental results. The procedure can use statistical tests based on parametric distributions of sample maximum or minimum. These tests can be performed using an inward testing procedure to identify multiple outliers. Finally, these filtered test results can be used to control delivery of a new feature of an online product.
