    Abstract: Embodiments are described in which shaping is integrated with power network synthesis (PNS) for power grid (PG) alignment. Specifically, some embodiments create placement constraints based on the PG that is expected to be created by PNS, and then perform shaping (or perform legalization) on the circuit design based on the placement constraints. This ensures that the physical partitions (e.g., instances of multiply-instantiated-blocks) are aligned with the power grid during shaping.

    Abstract: The current invention discloses an attenuated Salmonella typhimurium, a genetically engineered bacterium and applications thereof in preparing drugs for the treatment of prostate cancer. The attenuated Salmonella typhimurium has tumor targeting and significant inhibitory effects on prostate cancer cells. A genetically engineered bacterium bearing a L-methioninase gene plasmid also has tumor targeting ability. The attenuated Salmonella typhimurium with the plasmid can constitutively express L-methioninase in the tumor tissues, consume a significant amount of methionine and other nutrients, which in turn causes lack of nutrition and slow growth of tumor cells. Therefore, it can be used as drugs for treating prostate cancer.

    Abstract: A memory storage device, a memory control circuit unit, and a clock adjusting circuit disposed on a plurality of layers are provided. The clock adjusting circuit includes a detection circuit, a control voltage generating circuit, and a voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO). The detection circuit detects a signal characteristic difference between an input signal and an output signal to generate a first signal. The control voltage generating circuit is coupled to the detection circuit and generates a control voltage according to the first signal. The VCO is coupled to the control voltage generating circuit and includes an inductor and a capacitor. The VCO receives the control voltage and starts oscillating according to an impedance characteristic of the inductor and the capacitor to generate the output signal. The inductor is disposed on a pad layer among the layers. Thereby, the manufacturing cost is reduced.
