    Abstract: According to one aspect of the present invention, a multi-antenna transmitter is provided. The transmitter includes: a data block acquiring device for acquiring multiple data streams, wherein each data stream includes data blocks at multiple slots; and a grouping and mapping device for grouping and mapping each data block, wherein the data blocks at the same slot in each data stream are grouped according to the number of the antennas and each group is mapped to one of the antennas respectively, and the different data blocks in the same group are mapped to different sub-bands respectively; and wherein grouping and mapping manners which are not exactly the same are adopted for the data blocks at different slots, and the grouping and mapping manners include data block grouping manners, group-to-antenna mapping manners, and sub-band mapping manners. And the groups of data blocks at the multiple slots are transmitted via the antennas.

    Abstract: There is provided a luminaire (1) and a collimating optics (2) for LED lights (5). The collimating optics (2) comprises a reflection collimator (3) having a first aperture (7) for allowing incoming light from a LED light (5) to enter the collimator (3) and a second aperture (9) for allowing outgoing light to exit the collimator (3). The reflection collimator (3) further has a wall (15) with a reflective inner surface for guiding the incoming light from the first aperture (7) towards the second aperture (9). A first convex lens (11) is arranged at a distance from the first aperture (7) for refracting the incoming light, and a second convex lens (13) is arranged at the second aperture (9) for refracting and collimating the outgoing light. With the disclosed collimating optics the collimating capability is improved without the size of the optics being increased.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method, an apparatus and a system for informing a serving cell handover, which relate to radio communication technology, and can greatly reduce delay of the handover of the HS-DSCH serving cell, decrease the drop call rate, and enhance user's experience. The method for informing a serving cell handover includes: a radio network controller (RNC) sets up a radio link with a candidate cell, and sets configuration for the candidate cell during the process of setting up the radio link; the RNC sends configuration information of the candidate cell to user equipment (UE); and after acquiring an optimum cell, the RNC informs, through an Iub interface signaling message, a target base station of sending a serving cell handover instruction to the UE. The serving cell handover instruction instructs the UE to hand over to the optimum cell according to the configuration information. The present disclosure is suitable for occasions where the serving cell hands over in the radio network.

    Abstract: A method apparatus and system for cell handover are provided. The method includes the following steps. User equipment (UE) initiates a cell handover. If the UE is not in a downlink discontinuous reception state, the cell handover is performed when the UE is not in the downlink discontinuous reception state. If the UE is in a downlink discontinuous reception state, the UE exits the downlink discontinuous reception state and performs the cell handover when the UE is not in the downlink discontinuous reception state. The embodiments of the present invention prevent the problem that the UE cannot receive a handover indication command during the cell handover in time because the UE is in the downlink discontinuous reception state, thus reducing time delay of the cell handover, avoiding longer service interruption, and reducing the call drop rate.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus reduces the ambiguities in the determination of cellular telephone locations in a location finding system based on the use of multipath signals. A location finding base station determines a signal signature from a subspace of an array covariance matrix. The signature is compared to a database of calibrated signal signatures and corresponding locations, and a set of likely locations whose calibrated signatures best match the measured signature is selected. A subset of most likely locations is selected from among the likely locations by comparing a function which represents how closely the measured signature matches the set of calibrated signatures with functions which represent how closely each likely signature matches the set of calibrated signatures. The locations corresponding to the best matching function are selected.
