Abstract: IgY antibodies which specifically bind to human telomerase reverse transcriptase (hTERT) can be used to detect hTERT and thereby diagnose cancer. Preparations of the antibodies can be used to reduce hTERT reverse transcriptase activity in in vitro assays and can be used as in vivo therapeutics to treat cancer.

Abstract: An application processor circuit has SD-compatible interface protocols and can perform both host and slave functions. The circuit includes SD bus interface logic for realizing SD interface signals defined in SD-compatible interface protocols; system bus interface logic for performing the interface function on the system bus side; a data buffer for adjusting the data transfer rate difference between the SD bus interface and the system bus interface; a data buffer controller for controlling access to the data buffer; and a configuration unit for configuring the circuit to work in the host mode or slave mode. The SD-compatible interface protocols include MMC/SD/SDIO protocol, high speed MMC/SD/SDIO protocol, and CE-ATA interface protocol. The SD host logic and slave logic are incorporated in a single module to support both the SD host and slave functions, so as to achieve more convenient data transfer between electronic devices.

Abstract: A memory access controller that improves SDRAM access performance with the enhanced AHB bus protocol includes at least one memory access master for issuing a memory access instruction including an HLEN signal that represents the burst length of the transmitting data; and a memory access controller for controlling the access to the memory on the basis of the HLEN signal generated by the memory access master.

Abstract: Techniques for delivering data for coordinating multiple party use of a facility include producing conditions data by measuring without human intervention current condition of a facility that is used by multiple human parties. Availability data that indicates present or future availability for the facility is generated based at least in part on the conditions data. Coordination data based at least in part on the availability data is presented for the parties. These techniques allow rapid dynamic adaptation to changing status of a high-value facility while being less reliant on varied and subjective human motivations for reporting status changes. Undue exposure of sensitive information can be avoided by deriving less detailed views from high-resolution images of the facility and its users. Coordination data can be projected directly onto, and manual input can be derived from, a magnetic white board currently used for coordination at many facilities.
