Publication number: 20240084393Abstract: A molecular marker for identifying DNA methylation and thereby detecting the benignity or malignancy of a lung nodule is disclosed. The molecular marker for identifying DNA methylation includes the sequence of, or the completely complementary sequence to, SEQ ID NO:6 or a continuous fragment of at least 55% of the full length of the sequence of, or the completely complementary sequence to, SEQ ID NO:6. Also disclosed are applications of the molecular marker for identifying DNA methylation, including a corresponding detection reagent kit and a corresponding detection method. The disclosed molecular marker combinations for identifying DNA methylation are highly correlated to lung cancer, are highly sensitive and specific when used to detect the benignity or malignancy of a lung nodule, and can increase the detection rate of malignant lung nodules while lowering the false positive rate.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 17, 2023Publication date: March 14, 2024Inventors: Zhujia YE, Hao YANG, Yanying LIU, Jinsheng TAO, Xi LUO, Jiehan XU, Zhiwei CHEN, Jianbing FAN

Publication number: 20230278898Abstract: The present disclosure provides a polyzirconium coagulant obtained by performing a controllable hydrolytic polymerization reaction on a simple zirconium salt. The polyzirconium coagulant has a good coagulation performance when removing turbidity, organic matter, phosphate, and fluoride from water body. The coagulation effluent has a low concentration of residual metal and a mild change of pH. At the same dose, compared with a simple zirconium salt and polymerized zirconium chloride with a low polymerization degree, the polyzirconium coagulant prepared by the present disclosure has a wider workable pH and dose range. Besides, compared with other metal salt coagulants, the coagulant prepared by the present disclosure has a better decontamination performance. In addition, by using the polyzirconium coagulant prepared by the present disclosure, the floc has a large size and is rapid to settle. The residual zirconium concentration is low, and pollutant removal efficiency is high.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 2, 2023Publication date: September 7, 2023Applicant: Nanjing UniversityInventors: Shujuan ZHANG, Yonghai GAN, Yanying CHEN, Zhihao HANG, Bingcai PAN

Publication number: 20210407631Abstract: A method for histocompatibility laboratory operation and quality assurance whereby software gathers test results from databases. The software creates and assigns tasks to laboratory personnel. The software applies algorithms to perform an antibody quality check and provides the user visualization for reviewing and accepting the test or sending it for rework. The software creates tasks to review approved test results for unacceptable antigens. The software applies algorithms to identify potentially unacceptable antigens and provides the user with an interactive visualization to enable them to decide what antigens are unacceptable. The software uploads unacceptable antigens directly to UNOS. The software gathers data from UNOS about donor offers, compares to patient data, and applies algorithms to help the user perform a Virtual Crossmatch and determine if an offered organ should be accepted. The software generates reports, manages reviews, gathers digital signatures and provides a secure audit trail.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 28, 2021Publication date: December 30, 2021Inventors: Marcelo Pando, Jorge Moraleda, Yanying Chen, MacGregor Belniak
