  • Publication number: 20240057050
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Example wireless communications systems may implement control signaling configuring a user equipment (UE) to communicate in a subband full-duplex (SBFD) mode. An SBFD mode may include a non-contiguous bandwidth part (BWP), and control signaling may indicate the resource blocks (RB)s included in the non-contiguous BWP. In some cases, the non-contiguous BWP may be for communications between the UE and the network in one communications direction (e.g., uplink or downlink), and another BWP may be configured for communications between the UE and the network in the other communications direction. The non-contiguous BWP may include two subbands, and the other BWP may be non-overlapping with (e.g., positioned between) the two subbands in the frequency domain. The network may configure a BWP time domain switching pattern (e.g., switching between SBFD and half-duplex modes according to a BWP time domain switching pattern).

  • Publication number: 20240056899
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may adjust signaling in a slot configured for subband full-duplex (SBFD) communications based on receiving scheduling information indicating a signal. In a first option, a corresponding subband may be extended to include the signal. If there are remaining frequency resources, the remaining reverse-direction subband may be used for corresponding communications. In a second option, the remaining frequency resources of the reverse-direction subband may be used for same-direction communications as the signal. In a third option, the signal may be canceled, or a portion of the signal that is outside the corresponding subband may be canceled. In a fourth option, the signal may be treated as an error. In some examples, the options may be configured based on a type of the signal, or based on a priority level of the signal.

  • Publication number: 20240057098
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) and a network entity may support one or more signaling-based mechanisms according to which the network entity may inform the UE of which time and frequency resources may be used for full-duplex communication. The network entity transmit a first message to configure multiple resource block (RB) sets for the UE, where each RB set is associated with unique identifying information. To inform the UE of which time and frequency resources may be used for full-duplex communication, the network entity may transmit a second message that indicates one or more slot formats on a per RB set basis. As such, the network entity may schedule the UE for full-duplex communication in accordance with indicating that overlapping symbols of a first RB set and a second RB set are allocated for uplink and downlink, respectively.

  • Patent number: 11902802
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some examples, a base station may transmit, to a user equipment (UE), configuration information for both a first set of reference signals for a first beam sweeping procedure and a second set of reference signals for a second beam sweeping procedure. The UE may receive the first set of reference signals according to the configuration information, and may transmit a channel state information (CSI) report to the base station based on the received reference signals. • Publication number: 20240048349
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a sub-band full-duplex (SBFD) configuration of a cell serving the UE. The SBFD configuration may indicate a first set of resources for downlink communications and a second set of resources for uplink communications. The first set of resources and the second set of resources may include non-overlapping frequency resources in a same time interval. The UE may receive a control message that indicates a pre-emption of the first set of resources or a cancellation of the second set of resources. Accordingly, the UE may determine that downlink transmissions in at least a portion of the first set of resources are pre-empted or that uplink transmissions in at least a portion of the second set of resources are cancelled based on the control message and the SBFD configuration of the cell.
