    Abstract: This application provides a time of flight (TOF)-based distance measurement system with adjustable histograms, including: an emitter, configured to emit a pulsed beam; a collector, configured to collect a photon in the pulsed beam reflected by an object and form a photonic signal; and a processing circuit, connected to the emitter and the collector, and including a TDC circuit and a histogram circuit. The TDC circuit is configured to receive the photonic signal, calculate a time interval of the photonic signal, and convert the time interval into a time code. The histogram circuit counts photons on a corresponding internal time unit based on the time code, and collects statistics on photon counts in all time units after a plurality of measurements to draw a histogram. An address of the time unit can be dynamically adjusted to dynamically adjust a time resolution and/or a time range width of the histogram.

    Abstract: Provided is a method of generating high definition maps, which can be used in autonomous driving. The method includes obtaining consecutive mapping data generated by a sensor installed on a vehicle at consecutive positions. The mapping data is used to generate range scan poses and GPS positions of the vehicle at the consecutive positions. The method further includes generating consecutive optimized poses of the vehicle at the consecutive positions according to the range scan poses and the GPS positions of the vehicle. A map is then generated by stitching the consecutive mapping data based on the optimized poses.

The patterned cap material layer includes an opening over the cut structure. Portions of the stack structure and the patterned cap material layer adjacent to the opening are removed to form a slit structure and an initial support structure. The initial support structure divides the slit structure into slit openings. Conductor portions are formed through the plurality of slit openings to form a support structure. A source contact is formed in each slit opening. A connection layer is formed over the source contact in each slit opening and over the support structure.
