    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A communication device may transmit a random access channel (RACH) signal using a transmit beam of a set of transmit beams. The RACH signal may include a RACH preamble. The communication device may receive, based on the transmitted RACH signal, a receive beam of a set of receive beams. The communication device may determine a level of self-interference of the received beam. For example, the communication device may measure the level of self-interference of the received beam based on the transmitted RACH signal including the RACH preamble. The communication device may operate in a mode based on the determined level of self-interference.

    Abstract: A metabolic analyte sensor includes a substrate having an electrically conductive surface, an interference layer on the conductive surface, an enzyme layer on the interference layer, and a glucose limiting layer on the enzyme layer. The interference layer or the enzyme layer is configured such that the metabolic analyte sensor has an improved performance characteristic after sterilization compared to before sterilization. A packaged continuous metabolic monitor includes a sealed container; a metabolic sensor in the sealed container for insertion into a patient after the metabolic sensor is removed from the sealed container, the metabolic sensor comprising a conductive surface and an enzyme layer; electronic operating circuitry in the sealed container and coupled to the metabolic sensor; and a residue of a sterilizing gas in the metabolic sensor. The sealed container, the metabolic sensor and the electronic operating circuitry are sterilized together in the sealed container using the sterilizing gas.

An error rate of the signing system is extremely low and almost close to zero due to changing the paper tickets to the network electronic tickets, and a whole data accuracy is improved for signing for the cigarette materials.

    Abstract: Enhanced techniques applicable to a ray tracing hardware accelerator for traversing a hierarchical acceleration structure and its underlying primitives are disclosed. For example, traversal speed is improved by grouping processing of primitives sharing at least one feature (e.g., a vertex or an edge) during ray-primitive intersection testing. Grouping the primitives for ray intersection testing can reduce processing (e.g., projections and transformations of primitive vertices and/or determining edge function values) because at least a portion of the processing results related to the shared feature in one primitive can be used in determine whether the ray intersects another primitive(s). Processing triangles sharing an edge can double the culling rate of the triangles in the ray/triangle intersection test without replicating the hardware.

Also disclosed is an assay predictive of prognosis for treatment with a medicament in which the amount of an above protein or protein complex is determined and compared to an amount determined in the presence of a medicament that binds to a FLNA pentapeptide and contains at least four of the six pharmacophores of FIGS. 7-12. An amount of protein or protein complex determined in the presence of the medicament less than the first determined amount indicates a favorable treatment prognosis.

    Abstract: A cookie compliance management system enables automated evaluation of cookie compliance within an enterprise. The system determines whether a cookie set by an application in the environment is compliant with a policy. It comprises a workflow engine, a cookie discovery engine (CDE), a cookie characterization engine (CCE), a cookie policy engine (PE), and a cookie registry. The workflow engine receives a request to initiate an evaluation of an application for cookie compliance. The CDE is invoked and returns cookies that are set by the application. The CCE receives a set of base attributes associated with a cookie discovered by the CDE, and computes a set of descriptive attributes determined to be required to enable evaluation of the cookie according to a policy. The policy engine receives policy rules and the set of descriptive attributes and, in response, determines whether the cookie is compliant with the policy. The cookie registry stores cookie data.

The UE may perform a random access channel procedure to select a third beam and update a quasi co-location assumption for the initial control resource set to correspond to the third beam. The UE may apply a selection rule for selecting between the second beam and the third beam and monitor the shared data channel using the selected beam.

    Abstract: A system and method for predicting search term popularity is disclosed herein. A database system may comprise a first database cluster H and a second database cluster L. A machine learning algorithm is trained to create a predictive model. Thereafter, for each record in a database system, the predictive model is used to calculate a probability of the record being accessed. If the calculated probability of the record being accessed is greater than a threshold value, then the record in the first database cluster H; otherwise, the record is placed in the second database cluster L. Training the machine learning algorithm comprises inputting a training feature vector associated with the record into the machine learning algorithm, inputting a cost vector into the machine learning algorithm, and iteratively operating the machine learning algorithm on each record in the set of records to create a predictive model.
