  • Patent number: 11955635
Abstract: A single crystal multi-element positive electrode material and a preparation method therefor, and a lithium ion battery. The ratio of the length of the longest diagonal line to the length of the shortest diagonal line of the single crystal particles of the single crystal multi-element positive electrode material measured by an SEM is roundness R, and R?1; and D10, D50 and D90 of the single crystal particles of the single crystal multi-element positive electrode material satisfy: K90=(D90?D10)/D50, and the product of K90 and R is 1.20-1.40. The single crystal multi-element positive electrode material is more round and regular in morphology, the single crystal particles have uniform size, less agglomeration and less adhesion. The material has the characteristics of high compaction density, good rate capability and excellent cycle performance.

  • Publication number: 20150364767
Abstract: The disclosure discloses a porous electrode assembly, a flow half-cell and a flow cell stack. The porous electrode assembly includes multiple porous electrodes which are stacked, wherein at least two porous electrodes are flow passage electrodes with flow passage, and a part of flow passages of at least two flow passage electrodes are mutually communicated to form a flow field. The flow field used for circulating an electrolyte and formed by communicating the flow passages one another is arranged in at least one porous electrode of the porous electrode assembly, and the electrolyte flows in the porous electrodes under a flow guide effect of the flow field, so that surface areas, permeated by the electrolyte, of solid parts of the porous electrodes are enlarged, flow resistance of the porous electrodes to the flowing of the electrolyte is reduced, and a flow pressure difference is reduced.

  • Patent number: 7864482
Abstract: A disk drive is disclosed comprising a disk, a head, a voice coil motor (VCM) for actuating the head over the disk, and control circuitry comprising a notch filter for generating a VCM control signal, wherein a notch of the notch filter comprises a frequency, a width, and a depth. The notch filter is calibrated by initializing at least one of the width and the depth of the notch, measuring a quality metric of the notch filter, and increasing at least one of the width and the depth of the notch until the quality metric indicates good performance.

  • Patent number: 7253989
Abstract: A disk drive comprising an actuator including a head, a disk, and a processor connected to the actuator by a flex circuit cable. The processor under the control of a program to: apply a control signal for a seek operation and to apply a bias signal to the control signal to approximate the bias imparted by the flex circuit cable. The bias is determined from a data structure that stores: bias values for track zones representative of a first and second bias curves that approximate a bias imparted by the flex circuit cable upon the actuator as the actuator moves the head from the OD to the ID of the disk and from the ID to the OD of the disk, respectively. The bias values representative of the first and second bias curves are determined based upon a non-linear apportionment of track zones.

  • Patent number: 6900958
Abstract: A method is disclosed for improving head position accuracy in a disk drive during track following of concentric data storage tracks through real-time identification of external vibration and monitoring of write-unsafe (WUS) occurrences. In the method, after a seek operation to a predetermined data storage track, the track is followed using a servo control loop having a nominal gain and responsive to a position error signal (PES). After waiting a vibration detection delay period, occurrences of the PES exceeding a WUS limit are counted generating a WUS limit exception count. Also, a property of a variance is determined from spectral power values generated from the PES during track following. If the WUS limit exception count exceeds a first threshold, and if the property of the variance exceeds a second threshold, the nominal gain is increased to a vibration gain within a frequency band, to attenuate the effect of external vibration.
