Patent number: 11929856Abstract: This application provides a narrowband interference isolation method and a communication apparatus. An example method includes: determining a parameter of a narrowband interference signal; determining a coefficient of a first filter based on the parameter of the narrowband interference signal, wherein the first filter is located at a receive end of a master communication device, and the coefficient of the first filter is for filtering out the narrowband interference signal; and sending the parameter of the narrowband interference signal or the coefficient of the first filter to M slave communication devices using an Ethernet operation, administration, and maintenance (OAM) frame, wherein the master communication device is connected to the M slave communication devices, M?1, and M is an integer.Type: GrantFiled: November 14, 2022Date of Patent: March 12, 2024Assignee: Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd.Inventors: Yanbo Zhao, Jianfei Liu, Jinshan Wang, Yanbin Sun, Liming Fang

Publication number: 20220223104Abstract: Certain display types—such as organic light emitting diode (OLED) displays—may be more prone to burn-in or ghosting due to the varied luminance degradation rates of pixel cells of the display—especially in applications or content types that require display of prolonged, continuous, static textures. To account for this, aging of pixel cells (e.g., R, G, B, and/or W pixel cells) of a display may be tracked such that more aged pixel cells may be compensated for by reducing pixel values of one or more (e.g., each) other pixel cells of the display. As a result, the effect of burn-in or ghosting may be mitigated by tracking luminance degradation over time and compensating for the luminance degradation across some or all of the pixel cells of the display.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 13, 2021Publication date: July 14, 2022Inventors: Yanbo Sun, Tyvis Cheung, Gerrit Slavenburg

Patent number: 10880531Abstract: The disclosure is directed to transforming signals from one signal format to another signal format. For example, the format of a digital signal can change from storing video information in 12 bits of data to storing the video information in 32 bits of data. Other storage values and combinations can also be used. Since the number of bits available to store a portion of the video information can change when changing formats, a process is needed to translate or transform the video information appropriately. A transfer function utilizing a lookup table is used for the transforming. The lookup table utilizes a variable step size segmentation scheme that decreases the amount of lookup table storage space required and also decreases the number of estimation errors, i.e., interpolation errors. Estimation errors can occur when looking up a value not stored in the lookup table, and using neighboring values that are stored to estimate the value requested.Type: GrantFiled: August 17, 2018Date of Patent: December 29, 2020Assignee: Nvidia CorporationInventors: Yanbo Sun, Tyvis Cheung, Gennady Petrov

Patent number: 10681321Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a process to partially or fully suppress, or limit, pixel coloration errors. These pixel coloration errors, represented by small noise values, can be introduced during signal processing of high dynamic range (HDR) video signals. Converting visual content to a half precision floating point representation, for example, FP16, can introduce small amounts of signal noise due to value rounding. The noise can be multiplied and accumulated during HDR signal processing resulting in visual artifacts and degraded image quality. The disclosure can detect these noise amounts in pixel color component values, and suppress, or partially suppress, the noise to prevent the noise from accumulating during subsequent HDR signal processing.Type: GrantFiled: October 10, 2018Date of Patent: June 9, 2020Assignee: Nvidia CorporationInventors: Yanbo Sun, Gennady Petrov, Lauri Hyvarinen, Weiwan Liu, Dong Han Ryu

Patent number: 9895686Abstract: A method for producing double-component modified molecular sieve comprises adding molecular sieve to an aqueous solution containing phosphorus to form a mixture, allowing the mixture to react at pH of 1-10, temperature of 70-200° C. and pressure of 0.2-1.2 MPa for 10-200 min, and then filtering, drying and baking the resultant to obtain phosphorus-modified molecular sieve, and then adding the phosphorus-modified molecular sieve to an aqueous solution containing silver ions, allowing the phosphorus-modified molecular sieve to react with silver ions at 0-100° C. in dark condition for 30-150 min, and then filtering, drying and baking. The obtained double-component modified molecular sieve contains 88-99 wt % molecular sieve with a ratio of silica to alumina between 15 and 60, 0.5-10 wt % phosphorus (based on oxides) and 0.01-2 wt % silver (based on oxides), all based on dry matter. A catalyst produced from the double-component modified molecular sieve has improved hydrothermal stability and microactivity.Type: GrantFiled: December 1, 2009Date of Patent: February 20, 2018Assignee: PetroChina Company LimitedInventors: Xionghou Gao, Dong Ji, Haitao Zhang, Hongchang Duan, Di Li, ZhengGuo Tan, Yi Su, Zhicheng Tang, Yi Wang, Yanqing Ma, Yanbo Sun
