Publication number: 20240072534Abstract: A start method for a photovoltaic rapid shutdown system, an application apparatus and a system. In the method, an inverter system controls the voltage change of a corresponding direct current bus in a photovoltaic rapid shutdown system; and a photovoltaic module shutdown device performs determination according to a measured output voltage of itself, and controls itself to be turned on when the change characteristic of the voltage of the direct current bus connected to itself satisfies a preset turn-on condition. Therefore, merely by means of a self-contained voltage sampling device, the photovoltaic module shutdown device can determine whether a turn-on signal is received, without additionally providing a corresponding receiving device, thereby reducing hardware cost of the photovoltaic module shutdown device while realizing communication between the photovoltaic module shutdown device and the outside.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 10, 2022Publication date: February 29, 2024Applicant: Sungrow Power Supply Co., Ltd.Inventors: Yu Yang, Yanfei Yu, Jun Xu, Qiaodi Chen

Publication number: 20220256819Abstract: Four zebrafish gene promoters, which are skin specific, muscle specific, skeletal muscle specific and ubiquitously expressed respectively, were isolated and ligated to the 5? end of the EGFP gene. When the resulting chimeric gene constructs were introduced into zebrafish, the transgenic zebrafish emit green fluorescence under a blue light or ultraviolet light according to the specificity of the promoters used. Thus, new varieties of ornamental fish of different fluorescence patterns, e.g., skin fluorescence, muscle fluorescence, skeletal muscle-specific and/or ubiquitous fluorescence, are developed.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 25, 2022Publication date: August 18, 2022Applicant: National University of SingaporeInventors: Zhiyuan GONG, Jiangyan HE, Bensheng JU, Toong Jin LAM, Yanfei XU, Tie YAN

Patent number: 10427345Abstract: Process for continuous fabrication of highly aligned polymer films. A polymer-solvent solution is subjected to a high shear, high temperature, Couette flow to extrude a thin film having polymer chain disentanglement. The extruded thin film is frozen and the solvent is allowed to evaporate to form a dried film. The dried film is mechanically drawn using a constant force, adaptive-thickness drawing system to align polymer molecular chains through plastic deformation. A suitable polymer is ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene.Type: GrantFiled: April 30, 2015Date of Patent: October 1, 2019Assignee: Massachusetts Institute of TechnologyInventors: Gang Chen, Jianjian Wang, Jonathan Kien-Kwok Tong, Hadi Ghasemi, Xiaopeng Huang, James Loomis, Yanfei Xu

Publication number: 20190241785Abstract: Disclosed are thermally conductive quinoid-type conjugated polymer thin films. One such film comprises conjugated poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT). The thin films can be fabricated using oxidative chemical vapor deposition (oCVD), which offers unique advantages for integrating polymer films into various devices. By avoiding the use of solvents in the deposition of monomers and oxidants and undesirable solvent-derived surface-tension driven effects, such as dewetting, the oCVD coatings can conformally coat complex geometries, can be scaled to large areas, and can be fabricated at relatively low substrate temperatures on electrically insulating substrates. Disclosed is the formation of ordered polymer structures with rigid backbones achieved by oCVD with stacking in the transverse direction via ?-? interactions. P3HT films with record-high thermal conductivity of 2.2 W/m-K near room temperature have been prepared.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 17, 2019Publication date: August 8, 2019Inventors: Gang Chen, Karen K. Publication number: 20090063466Abstract: Described is a technology by which a resource selector traverses a hierarchical storage structure to enumerate its resources and provide a flat list of corresponding items. The user interacts with the flat list to select an item. The resource selector is particularly beneficial when incorporated into a handheld computing device. The resource selector may use a filtering criterion associated with an application program, e.g., the hierarchical storage may correspond to a file system, with the file extension (type) being the filtering criterion. A trigger coupled to the resource selector triggers the resource selector, in which the trigger may be incorporated into the application program, or may comprise an application-independent (e.g., operating system) component that knows which application program currently has focus and triggers the resource selector for that application.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 31, 2007Publication date: March 5, 2009Applicant: Microsoft CorporationInventors: Yanfei Xu, Xiao Xe, Arun K.
