  • Publication number: 20260079090
Abstract: The present invention discloses an electro-assisted tension-compression cyclic loading device and testing method for ultra-thin titanium plates. The device comprises a composite tension-compression specimen, wherein a lateral force is applied to both sides of the composite tension-compression specimen; two pairs of electro-assisted fixtures, respectively clamping both ends of the composite tension-compression specimen, include two oppositely arranged clamping heads. The clamping surface of the clamping heads have a conductive structure, and the conductive structure is connected to an external power source, so that when the composite tension-compression specimen is clamped on the clamping head, the conductive structure contacts the composite tension-compression specimen to transfer current to the composite tension-compression specimen through the conductive structure to heat it. The clamping head is further connected to the loading end of a universal testing machine.

  • Patent number: 9999540
Abstract: A dropper of eye drops comprises an eye drops storage for storing eye drops, which has an opening at the top and an eye drop outlet at the bottom; an elastic seal assembly installed inside the eye drop storage and forming a space for storing the eye drops together with the eye drop outlet; a pressing device installed at the top of the eye drop storage and configured to press the elastic seal assembly so as to compress the space for storing the eye drops, such that the eye drops are dropped out of the eye drop outlet. The dropper of eye drops eye drops by means of pressing the pressing device, and thus can be operated simply and safely, time- and energy-saving, and avoid waste. In addition, the dropper of eye drops has a simple design in structure and is convenient for use.

  • Patent number: 9404150
Abstract: Provided herein are products and processes for the amplification, detection and sequencing of short-stranded nucleic acid in the presence of a high background of long-stranded genomic material (e.g., host or maternal nucleic acids). The methods rely on the use of inside and outside primers introduced at varying concentrations, as well as universal amplification reactions that preferentially amplify short, low copy number nucleic acid.

  • Patent number: 6584249
Abstract: The present invention provides an optical dispersion compensator with relatively small size and low insertion loss comprising a Fabry-Perot etalon and a dual-fiber collimator having a dual-fiber pigtail and a GRIN lens. The dual-fiber pigtail has an input fiber and an output fiber. An optical signal is coupled into the input fiber and then collimated by the GRIN lens into a collimated incident beam that is incident on the Fabry-Perot etalon with an incident angle. The collimated incident beam is reflected back by the Fabry-Perot etalon into a collimated reflected beam that is collected by the GRIN lens and coupled into the output fiber. By adjusting the separation between the input fiber and the output fiber of the dual-fiber pigtail, the collimated incident beam will change its incident angle and reflected angle. By tuning this angle, the group delay pattern of the output optical signal through the output fiber will shift along with wavelength, therefore dispersion compensation can be achieved.

  • Patent number: 6493140
Abstract: A polarization splitter and combiner for processing a beam containing a first polarization and a second polarization to spatially separate these polarizations by using a birefringent element for receiving the beam and walking off the first polarization from the second polarization by an initial walk-off distance. A first lensing element with an optical axis is oriented to admit the first polarization at a first input point and output the first polarization at a first output angle to the optical axis and the second polarization at a second output angle to the optical axis. A second lensing element positioned after the first lensing element is oriented to receive the polarizations at input angles equal to their respective output angles, and outputs both polarizations at a first and second output point respectively. In a symmetrical arrangement, the first and second output points are separated by the initial walk-off distance.

  • Patent number: 6353691
Abstract: A method and system for providing a splitter/combiner is disclosed. The splitter/combiner includes a first birefringent wedge having a first optic axis and a first wedge angle and a second birefringent wedge having a second optic axis and a second wedge angle. The second birefringent wedge is optically coupled with the first birefringent wedge. The second wedge angle is complementary to the first wedge angle. The second optic axis is perpendicular to the first optic axis such that an extraordinary signal for the first birefringent wedge is an ordinary signal for the second birefringent wedge. The first and second birefringent wedges establish a first path for a first portion of a first optical signal and establish a second path for a second portion of the first optical signal. The first path and the second path are separated by an angle. The first optical signal travels from the first birefringent wedge to the second birefringent wedge.
